Listening to Kelly talk is the reason why this team cones out flat. We learn from this bull shit you have had a problem with turn overs and playing terrible teams to make them look like national champions.

I love your posts, I always picture Andy Rooney complaining when I read them.

kpenn, did we look like the #4 team? I didn't think so, that is why they were talking that way. If we dominated they couldn't or wouldn't have said anything about it. 100% our fault

How effed up would it be that after the times BC screwed our season by handing us a loss, this time they screw our season and we still win?

Yes!! This was my point earlier. We all want to win the title. But getting double digit wins consistently is really what we all long for. Let's keep it up! Go Irish! Suck it Urbie.

ND RECEIVERS and KIZER

ND RECEIVERS and KIZER

Fuller, Carlisle, Brown, Robinson, Tight Ends, Prosise, etc.

Kizer is unable to move the ball around at this point. Perhaps attributable to his inexperience, but nonetheless, ND would dominate if he could hit more of these receivers on a consistent basis. Imagine hitting 5 different receivers with the ball during a game (consistently) - what that would do for the overall offensive scheme. No one, and I mean no one could touch ND.

Anyway, we're 10-1. That's playing good football. Great football categorically, will come with a Stanford win. GO IRISH!!

I'm just so disappointed that the team didn't have more killer instinct. They had every opportunity to blow the game open. Then after fucking that up we still should've won 26-9... but Fuller has his third drop and our defense plays comically bad.

At 19-16 you give tons of fuel to ND getting left out of playoffs that doesn't exist at 26-9... much less 42-0 which would've been a realistic score considering WEHAD SEVEN RED ZONE TRIPS.

Even worse you lose KVR and Prosise. These injuries are ridiculous.

Hines and Vilma are seriously defending us so well.

All of Kizer int were self inflicted. You could argue maybe call on the screen to Fuller but I thought he should have checked out of that.

He made the throws he had to but still left alot on field. Of his 18 inc's, at least half were to open WRs but poorly thrown.

As far as coaching, they had a great overall gameplan. 450 yards against this "top rated D" and pulled out a win after 5 RED ZONE to's.

Worried we lost two more tonight.

We may limp into playoffs and get embarrassed.

I don't think so.
Every team struggles at some point in the season.
We won and will be ranked 3 or 4.

Back to back weeks against Wake Forest and Boston College. An awful game against Virginia. And Georgia tech flat out sucks.

We've played 3 statistically good defenses, and maybe I missing one, but we haven't looked good against 1.

What I don't understand is how for the third straight year this team goes into the last game of the season devastated by injuries? Maybe Koon is right and a change needs to be made with strength and conditioning coach. Fire Longo?

And probably 4-6 catches that were made were the receivers helping him out on not so good throws.

We all want to make the playoff top 4. I hate being that guy (and still want in), but ND is going to have to play 1000% better to have a chance in said playoffs. As it is now, especially if Procise and Russell are out, ND could get rolled. That game was painful to watch, I'm glad to have a win after sitting through that mess!
