I just hope and pray the Jags or someone take him before the Browns have the opportunity to eternally damn their franchise...
As do I.

LOL how is he not accurate enough? 69.9% this year and 68% as a RS FR.
I can tell you're serious about this with your LOL. How much Manziel did you watch this year? He had one of the best WRs in the country and as others have mentioned, he lived off of throwing up jump balls.
I'm always forthcoming if I turn out to be wrong about a player so I'll speak up later this year/next year if he proves to be legit. He may make it work, I wouldn't have projected Russell Wilson to the NFL and he seems to be doing just fine.
Pro days literally mean nothing.
When he can throw on the run like that to a COVERED receiver not named Mike Evans (who was bigger and stronger than every single DB on the field so JFF just chucked into DOUBLE and TRIPLE coverage routinely...throws that routinely get picked off in the NFL), then I will be impressed.
JFF will be an undisciplined QB who will not play well in an NFL offense, at least not til he gets the S H I T kicked out of him for a good eight games....which I would LOOOOVE to see.
He so belongs on the Raiders...
Doing his best Marinovich impression...

I didnt know that Manziel surfed naked, continually gets popped for marijuana possession, or rode skateboards as a grown man.
LITERALLY nothing! Not one thing can be learned from a pro day. Watching a player workout in person informs one of NOTHING about the player.
Now I understand why every big school has them and why NFL scouts and coaches flock to them.
Actually, this is what we learned about JFF....that he is just as self-centered and interested in making a spectacle than actually showing any tangible improvements.
Minnesota Vikings coach Mike Zimmer sees flags surrounding former Texas A&M QB Johnny Manziel - ESPN
And sure Zimmer is not going to be getting a shot a Manziel unless he fall out of the Top 5, but it sounds like this is what top NFL GMs will be taking into account, not the fact that he can complete passes to 6'5" WRs.
I am sorry but did they learn anything new about Johnny Football other than he lives to throw jump balls to Mike Evans?
No.
Congratulations on being able to hit WIDE OPEN receivers who nobody on them. I mean, SERIOUSLY, there was literally NOTHING gleaned from what he did. See what he does under pressure in a LIVE NFL game and THEN you can actually learn something.
It is no different than a practice session.
And I love how you conveniently left out the important things about why any NFL GM would be a fool to take him #1, or anywhere in the top 5. He is not Russell Wilson. Russell Wilson is a two sport star, a gym rat and has a relentless, RELENTLESS work ethic on AND off the football field, which is something that you NEVER hear about Johnny.

This is silly and completely innacurate. First of all, you get to see the QB run a route tree in a pro day and they do the measurement they may or may not have done at the combine. They also get one on one time with them. So the pro days have significant value, a value that is much different than a practice session.
How exactly is a team suppose to see a prospect in LIVE NFL action? So you're saying you cant learn anything about a player until they are actually in the NFL? Why do all NFL teams have scouting departments then?
Regarding your last comment, Johnny is a gym rat and he has spent a ton of time with George Whitfield in the off season and ran outside sessions with his receivers. He grew up playing a variety of sports, including basketball, baseball, golf and football. The TAMU baseball coaches offered him an opportunity to play baseball, but he chose to get coached by Whitfield.
I don't like Manziel because he is a prick raised by a family of degenerates. I don't like him because he's cocky and I hate his persona. However, i'm not going to just start rattling off false premise.

About the pro-day's changing so the QB threw against a defense. I don't see it happening. These schools and coaches want their QBs to look as good as possible, so throwing in a defender to make some plays and make the QB look bad won't happen unless everyone else does it to even the playing field IMO.
