I cure cancer, when I can. I help better lives, when I can't.

Been at it 8 years this August.

Are you counting college into the 8 years? If so, I am honored.... I never thought I'd get to talk to Tim Tebow.

I'm a business analyst for a fortune-20 company. Sounds fancy, but what it means is I work between the IT team and the people who run the business and make sure they get what they need from IT.

I've flirted with some entreprenurial ideas, but never had the balls/capital to go for them.

I am currently a professional student. And will continue to be for (hopefully) the next 6 years.

The dream after that is to going into R&D for someone like Intel, Nvidia, Qualcomm, TSMC etc.

Environmental Engineering. Biding my time for 3 years until I can take the P.E.

I make the Buster Bluth's of the world happy by making the Polish Leppy's of the world angry.

Really I help figure out how to clean up the messes of others. So I am a glorified garbage man.

Public school teacher for the past 40 years. Also, I have coached boys basketball and continue to coach girls basketball. Looking forward to my youngest child graduating from college in three years. Still love teaching, but looking forward to a life of leisure in the next five years.

I don't think oil companies should count in the Fortune ratings because it's not fair to the rest of us, lol.

Been in IT since September 1972 when mainframes would fill up a room, didn't have 1/10th the power of today's PC's and data networks ran off of 4.8Mbps modems. I've been on the management side the last 30 years with a heavy emphasis on Infrastructure and Project Management.

Now working for a small company instead of a Fortune 50. Pressure is non-existent.

Bottom line, we're the guys that tell Business Analysts like Kuehnja what they can have regardless of what they ask for. lol

I forgot to add that I coach 7th and 8th grade football used to do high school but that doesn't work anymore with my school and work schedules.

Our league though is very competitive by youth standards, I scout, breakdown film, the whole deal, so during the fall it pretty much ends up being another job plus I still got my part time job, my internship, and my classes. Lately football has been more year round as I've been going to a lot of clinics and we've been running optional summer camp practices 2 months before the official practice starts the last few years.

PMs are so overrated. They're like the Longo of the IT world. All of the credit but the IT would be just fine with a good BA and developers. And they're incredibly over paid.

Having said that, my goal is to become one. :).

I do cataloging and new book processing for an academic library, officially considered a "library specialist." It's pretty cool to get the first look at all of the new items as they arrive at the university. It's like Christmas every day for a book lover.

Ideally I would like to go to grad school for library sciences and become an academic librarian. Hopefully I could use my experience/youth as an advantage as libraries look to be more digital-oriented and try to keep up with advancing technology.

Congrats! Good friend of mine from college just matched Surgery at Marshall which includes his intern year. He's excited to stop learning medicine and finally 'do' medicine.

Can't speak for those guys but I had a friend who tested into the program coming out of high school. Went to the nuke program and said the academic rigor was very high.

My roommate is going to be a nurse anesthetist in a few months. Seems like a sweet gig.
