Our resume should have said 2-1 against the top 25, not 1-1.

You'd think ESPN would have correct stats. Yes Iowa is 2-0 vs Top 25 (#18 and 25) but ND is not 1-1 vs Top 25, they are 2-1 (#20 and 22).

The committee has no respect for the Big 12. One of them has to be undefeated to have any shot of getting in at all.

This is good, very good.

I still think there is a good shot that USC ends up in the top-25 also.

I wouldn't say they don't respect for them. They just realize that they haven't played any meaningful games yet... outside the Okie St - TCU game. It will be hard to keep an undefeated Big 12 team out.

Interesting: Jeff Long just said the majority of their debate time was spent on positions 5-8.

They respect UND's season and schedule.

I thought there was something about the committee looking at balance too. So teams in the Big12 who dont play defense are gonna take a hit there. Could be some of their rationale

Me too. Just didn't want to give them the benefit yet. I truly wonder how MissSt is in there and not U$C. Both 2 losses to ranked teams plus U$C to UW. U$C though does have a top 25 win and MissSt does not

Even a Baylor win against Okla won't be enough for them to jump you next week IMO.

I dunno. If Baylor or Okie St run the table and Clemson loses along the way, it may get a little scray. The Irish need Stanford to win up until the Irish game as well.
