It was about 55 this morning when I left for work... well almost, I turned around, let the car heat up for 10 minutes while I went and grabbed a parka, gloves and an extra pair of socks....

I was just thinking about this last night. Went to Wal-Mart to get a new phone charger at midnight cause the kids toasted the wife's. It was 40 degrees last night according to weather.com. People are walking in and out of Wal-Mart in t-shirts, shorts, and sandals/flip flops...myself included. That's Ohio.

Anything less than like 70 degrees can kill you in the right circumstances. Wasn't that game barely below freezing?

I love this quote... 'icy slush'??? Dude, every row of bleachers within our entire section (every row I could see) was encased in a giant ice block... there were ushers trying to use hammers to break the ice apart...

Coldest games I've ever been to was the '09 Syracuse game, but even colder than that was probably the 2013 Spring Game. Horrible game with all defense, all day. Only TD came on the last play with Zaire hitting Procise. The wind was biting cold, completely frigid, and people were ducking into Legends all afternoon to try and escape, only to be shoved back out.

People tell me that BYU game a few years ago was a bit colder than Syracuse, but I don't remember Syrcause having the biting wind like that Spring Game, so I still think the Spring Game was the worst.

Solid ice is a lot better than slush! The solid stuff stays on the outside of your pants. At least that's true for a lot of people. ACamp and DShans, I have my doubts.

I was at both the 2008 Syracuse game (I think that's the one you mean) and the 2013 BYU game. I thought the BYU game was colder. The coldest game I've ever sat through was the 1991 Navy game. That was simply awful.

The BYU game in '13? I've been to that one and the '09 Cuse game. I seem to recall it being colder for Syracuse. Then again, that was just a terrible game, so that may have influenced my outlook.

I didn't go to that spring game, but I heard exactly what you said about it.

I don't doubt that aspect... I'm just saying the bleachers were ice blocks...... what does the last sentence mean?
