i'm already all in with some lottery tix for fenway--great deal on the tix, it's the hotel costs (2 night minimums if u want to stay in boston proper) that are killer.

whoever is worried about "more BC fans than ND ending up in fenway" never underestimate the frugality of our new England friends....and the lack of monetary discipline exhibited by ND Nation when comes to all things ND.
and if we are (hopefully) undefeated going intoi this game...watch out! this thing could turn into a carnival, sox game 7 type thing re: tix.

I'm on a project where the client is in Vermont. We keep getting told we're rolling off, but they've been re-signing us for an extra month, twice now. If I'm still on it for the game, I'll likely make the trip to the BC game.

But it's completely up in the air and I have no idea if the project will be ended by then or not. I'll try to sandbag it so I can make it there .

84 doesn't go to Vermont. Coming west from the Mass Pike, it turns south through Hartford and west into New York. Koon won't be in 84 for more than a couple of miles, if that, no matter what part of Vermont he's coming from.

Apparently NDNation is a giant sting operation run by the ticket office to catch people selling tickets above face value. So at this point I've sold zero tickets and received one lovely phone call from the University.

Unfortunately, nobody northeast of State College, PA gives a hoot about college football. Draw a line diagonal from Eerie to Atlantic City and the only power five programs in that footprint are Rutgers, Boston College, and Syracuse. Not exactly inspirational when you have five NFL teams in that same space.

I am sorry...haven't you been reading? We suck now and aren't going to win any more games. Why would we want to get tickets to a road blowout in probably bad weather and probably get mugged by people who can't pronounce the letter R?

I fully intended for it to be, but my cheap friends won't step up and I have no way to connect with the people spending thousands on StubHub to tell them they're being idiots.

Stubhub also throws a 17%+ fee on the transaction - true cost is $940 for that $800 ticket. They hit the seller with a decent chunk as well. They make a nice marketplace but damn if they don't take a pound of flesh in the process.

Every other game has come down significantly in price. This one is something else.
