Not sure but I too prefer the yellow gold, by far.

Went to the store at the Joyce center today. They had one rack of jerseys for 200 bucks and another for 100 bucks, can't tell the difference. Bought my son a number 8 jersey.

UnderArmour has three tiers. $200 authentic, $100 premier, $80 replica. There's also a techfit but that one looks idiotic without shoulder pads.

Agreed.
That "diamond plate" pattern on the jersey background offended me.
It reminded me of something Argentina, or another national soccer team, would be wearing in World Cup play.


The only Adidas jersey that I like is aTm.
But even that is just a play on their three stripe shirts.

SMH... How can they justify spending the money on these uniforms? Total misuse of the universities funds. I mean, this expenditure to buy 300 uniforms will take the school's endowment almost 8 minutes to pay for via the interest it generates.

Haha was going to post this last night, after I seen TP post it to IG, I thought the same exact thing so I chose not to. Old men being old men. But really though, I like it just the back of the helmet is really weird. I would just take all of that stuff off the back and leave the sides. Maybe keep the Irish at the bottom.

I've been begging for the black on black/ dark blue on dark blue unis for awhile now.

I am a firm believe in Paul Lukas's opinion that BFBS (Black for Black Sake) is horrible. We didn't, don't, and won't ever have black in our color scheme, therefore we should never use black in any way. I am a huge fan of the Shamrock Series Unis as they are definitely something different, and they appeal to the players/recruits. I do not, however, support black in anyway as a color for us to wear.

yeah i agree with Lukas, I hate BFBS as well as Grey uni's and any sort of Stars and Bars/ God bless America uni's. The really sad thing about CFB is seeing schools/apparal designers trying to copy other schools uniform concepts and not truly being innovative.

i agree, nothing wrong with SS uni's when done right. I'd have no problem either with ND wearing green jerseys now and then for big games vs USC. BK never seems like a fan of them

1000% Agree. Those were the best ones we've worn in a while.
So simple and perfect for the SC matchup in a couple weeks.
Been begging for the Irish to sport those since that game.

Fanbase would go crazy.
