I was really excited for The Babadook, but couldn't help wanting to slap the crap out of that bratty kid from 5 minutes on.

Haha we felt the same way, when he pushed his mom over I thought my wife was gonna lose it!

Saw it too. I thought it was one of his better ones LATELY.

LOL......At least he did one thing right. Always killed with a shot to the head. No need to worry about someone getting back up and getting you from behind.

I thought John Wick was actually very entertaining. Moved quickly and the action was actually pretty unique. No crazy karate or crazy special effects.

Saw Ant Man

Very fun, an actual Marvel family film but with a couple swear words

Just watched Kung-Fu Hustle again for the first time in a while and it gave me a great deal of happiness.

That movie clicks with me.

One of my favorites. The midnight assassins with the instrument is one of my favorite "holy shit" moments when you realize what they're doing.

I am a parent of 3 small children so this week it was Cars 2, Frozen and Planes. I have seen each of these movies way too many times.

Did you not take them to Inside Out?

Not yet. One of my nephews turns 7 next month and he wants to go to that movie for his birthday, so I haven't let my children go yet. I will say that my two oldest are super excited to see it, my youngest is only 8 months so she is only excited to chew on the computer or my phone.

Wow..I actively disliked Cars 2. Planes is one that was just completely forgettable.

I am not disagreeing with you, but my kids love it. The first cars was pretty good, Brave was OK, Frozen was Pretty good. My favorite is when they want to watch The Incredibles, which is pretty enjoyable for me.

ETA: The first Shrek movie was pretty good as well.

Inside Out is great. From the same guy who did Monsters Inc and Up. It's by far the best Pixar movie since Up, which imho is maybe their best work. If you enjoy good film, you will like Inside Out.

Cars 2 I semi enjoyed but it can't touch the rest of the Pixar offerings (even Monsters University)

Feel your pain. Six of my grand-kids are six and under and are over frequently. Our DVR is loaded with all of the typical kids movies. I've seen Frozen more than I care to remember. lol

P.S. It's an older movie, but they love ET. yours may like it if they haven't seen it.

My son is almost 10 and past it now, but when he was younger we almost had all the Shrek movies on a loop. I do NOT miss that part of those days.

i have friends and seemingly their kid can only watch Minions movies. Not Toy Story, Up or any others it has to be Minions every time and when you go over to their house they have those movies on a loop every hour of the day it seems :/

I saw "Snowpiercer" recently. Pretty damn good. Paced well; the director knew when to clip things along and when to stop and smell the roses. And it does the audience the courtesy of not explaining everything to death and killing you with exposition.

I LOVED that movie! Such a unique concept. Has to be one of my favorite adaptations from a graphic novel. It was really well acted too, Tilda Swinton was amazing.

I bought an Ah-nuld two pack DVD and watched both movies recently. The 2 are "Eraser" and "Collateral Damage." They're both pretty solid action flicks. Both movies were when Arnold was sliding off from the peak of his popularity, and I remember both running into production problems at the time of their respective releases that tarnished them a bit. But both movies were involving and entertaining, and certainly better than most of what Arnold's been putting out in his post-Governator career.
