too much thought going into his video and not enough of what he can do for the irish

A high school senior-TO BE, with arms like he's been working in Longo's program for 3 or 4 years, and a pretty lean waist for a lineman. *

He doesn't run his mouth about national championships, playing time, nor post pictures with a porn star, nor a new car, nor a bag of money.

No 3 card monte hat routine, no national TV announcement, no announcement at his elementary school and then not showing up.

He wears his HS Tee shirt and reveals his choice in a clever way demonstrating his strength and determination where the rubber meets the road and he succinctly states:

May we be fortunate to get more like him! Welcome Parker!

The video is copyrighted by BleacherReport not Boudreaux Videos. Some of the wedges (simple tools) objecting in this thread need to learn how to read.

I honestly do not understand nothing of what you guys are talking about.. what's wrong with the video? I did not see nothing to discuss about his attitude or whatever. B/R did a similar thing with Iman Marshall and i thought it was pretty cool.

BGIF, I could not agree more!!!! Reps sir!! I'm not very concerned with what he did and how he did it......to often we see kids with umpteen hats, and often with schools they were never going to attend, wads of cash, sports cars, limos......and on and on. The kid just made a lifetime decision, and I for one could really care less how he made it, just that he picked the right team!!!

I cannot give you all enough reps!

European, you need to lay off the "double negatives." but I understood exactly what you mean!

I would like to take the sum total accomplishments of all those critical of the video, using specific, quantitative descriptions, (such as "douche") and be stack up their own accomplishments next to Parkers'. Want to bet which stack would be higher?

I have a pretty good idea.

What I say to those that took time to criticize the PB commitment video, "How does one transcend one's own shortcomings and grow as a person, when one is inordinately critical and remain transfixed of those same traits in others?"

* Users can say whatever they want about a recruit, diminish anything, because in the final analysis, all of us really are like "A guy in the diner!" But the fact is that Parker is incredibly trim for someone who weighs a legitimate 290 plus. His weight has been documented. So those that want to question his height, fine. The shorter his is the more solid. Even at a listed 6'4" this kid has to be a beast of a physical specimen! If he is shorter, the point is even more salient!

It was #1 on their "Line-Up" trending column on their home page, same for their college football page where it's still #1. It's still front page on the CFB recruiting page even with Rivals releasing their Rivals 100 today and it was on at least the Florida, Clemson and Oklahoma team feeds. So A LOT of people saw it.

.

It was on the evening news. No joke.

I was kidding guys. Just taking a shot at BR like we used to back in the good ol' days.

I don't think the criticism of that video is warranted at all. Was the video a little corny? Yes. Douchey? I don't think so. He was wasn't standing there providing a monologue about how awesome he is. He attempted to do something different and creative.

I agree completely - i saw a video that I didnt have to mute some horrible audio track, so it was a positive for me.

I didnt really like the video myself, but I'm not 18 and I'm definitely not someone he's trying to impress, so fuck it, whatever. As long as it wasn't the hat dance, I'm ambivalent towards it.

Glad he's ours, that's my bottom line.

I know most of you are too young to know who Conrad Dobler is but I hope Parker is half the tool he was. Give me nasty every day of the week when it comes to an offensive lineman.

.

Conrad Dobler didn't pull chains, he ate them. Conrad Dobler didn't move buses, he $hit them.

I'm not an expert when it comes to the opening.... His score of 112.62... where does it compare to other elite OL?

I mean, it says right on the thing that he's in the 99th percentile for both of the power events and even at about 300 pounds, he's in the 74th percentile for vertical jump and 87th percentile in their agility drill.

Also under the main score it says that he scored in the 99th percentile of all athletes in his class. Soooooo pretty good.

Comparatively, it is fantastic. It's better than any OL participant over the last 2 years by ~8 points. Nice to see he measured in at 6'5 too

I assume most the elite linemen are in the highest percentile... I didn't know how he really compared to top linemen and not the linemen going to Indiana.... I missed the overall 99 percentile....

That is amazing

That's a fantastic score. I'm not sure where the cutoff is to get down to the 98th percentile nationally but A local kid I've been following was in the 99th percentile at OG 15 points below P-Money. Good comparison because Michael Alves is a beast... That makes Parker a fricken' Yeti .

Any idea of where these percentiles are coming from? Is it just from kids participating?
