Them highlights tho. Around the 2:15 mark, the kid he hit didn't even want to get back up haha.

I could definitely see him as a freak at OLB. He was playing plenty of OLB in those highlights when his team would show a 4-4 defense. He had run support like a LB, but dropped into deep coverage from there a few times as well.

He looked really good when he lined up at safety in their base sets too. He's a ballhawk.

Personally, I'd like to get bigger at LB so I don't view him as that. If JO (SAM LB) is having troubles at 6'1 220, right around where this kid will play at, then I think he sticks at SS.

PA is a huge state, but this kid's out in the middle of nowhere. Between Pittsburgh and Erie. Town sits on the border of PA and Youngstown, OH.

PSU legacy...nuff said...they get 100,000 + at a game...just imagine how many alumn etc...i live here...i have to hear the mouth breathers

What do you see as an ideal height and weight?

For OLB, or Safety?

I'd prefer to see him at safety, due to ND's depth concerns, and also because it seems he settles into pass coverage pretty well considering his skill as a run-stopper.

I mentioned him as a potential freak at OLB, because if he IS an OLB at some point, that means he's at 225+, and still probably has above-average athleticism in terms of LB's. If he got that big, he'd be a great LB to use against teams that operate in 3-WR base sets.

I like that word "incredible". Has to mean we're strongly in the mix.

This morning:
Loy CB to ND
Steve W. CB to OSU

Both of them acknowledge it could go either way and its a very close battle. We need to win this one

We seem to be in the lead or in the top group for about 5 safeties so it wouldn't be the end of the world if we lost out on him. I think some people think he will play the S/LB hybrid anyway, and Spencer Perry would probably play that position if he flips

Its comical at times for sure, we will see if he has the real goods this time or if we are being Loyed. Tom works hard at getting material out however some of his predicitions are baffling, not saying this CB is but you get the point

I think the finishing touches on this class will be partly determined by our play on the field this year. I really can't wait for kickoff.

(clicking search button to find where the waffle discussion last left off and in what thread)

I was in Denver over the weekend for a concert. Stayed at a Homewood Suites / Hampton combo downtown. Man their waffles were awful.
