I like to get blu-rays from Target/Walmart/Amazon if they have the digital copy included, the price is right, and it's a reallllly good film that I want in my collection.

I like the digital copy for ease of access, but I like the hard copy so that when technology inevitably fails and China steals The Cloud, I can rig together some primitive electricity and watch my movies on a reliable blu-ray player.

I shop at Walmart for their reasonably-priced DVD's and Blu-Rays. If there's a movie I absolutely need in my collection, Walmart is my first stop.

Other than that, nah.

I stop there to get fishing bait a lot, this exact WalMart in Beech Grove. It is convenient being right off the 465 but there is always a shady looking crowd in that place. The Grove is getting rough.

Apparently the lady who got up out of the scooter went on the radio yesterday to plead her case. She said she called out the other lady who had used a racial slur against a Wal Mart employee who ignored it and walked away.

Here's the best part. When asked about her kid getting involved, she said that was just his martial arts training kicking in. I was rolling when I heard that. That poor kid doesn't have a prayer in life.

If you're stupid enough to get into a fight in a store, then I guess you're not smart enough to keep your mouth closed.

Actually they are not allowed to shop at any Wal Mart. I can see Wal Mart beefing up security, posting "Wanted" posters in the stores and issuing APB's to all of the stores.

If I'm being honest, I would not have stepped in. I'm no lawyer, but I know of doctors who step in and save someone's life getting sued for hurting their chest during CPR. Step into a fight involving trailer trash and risk getting arrested? Grab someone's kid? No way. Only can end badly for you legally... and that's the kind of country we live in.

It's Walmart's responsibility to have security that takes care of something like that... and I promise you they have a corporate policy against employees trying to break up a fight.

I worked at a Meijer during college and the very first thing they drill into you (outside their corporate propaganda) is never intervene with a fight or a shoplifter.

I don't have verification, but someone had mentioned that the blonde was actually shopping in a wheel chair prior to her getting up and wanting to fight.

This WalMart is a quarter of a mile away from my work. It's a decent area, but for some reason this WalMart has all kinds of problems. Yesterday a shop lifter fled from there and the police gave chase. They stopped after a mile so the public wouldn't get harmed. A little later the culprit saw another police car, panicked, ran a red light and hit two cars head on killing one and leaving two in critical condition.

Earlier in the year there was a shoot out with some guys selling cell phones. I suspect a lot of this goes on because this WalMart sits right next to the highway, so there's a quick get away available to them.

Unfortunately, Indy is like all big cities. Plenty of idiots around.

As opposed to any other WalMart?
