Proximity to home is also part of it but mainly yes, the depth chart. He's a day 1 starter at both programs.

I like Sterling Cole quite a bit. I would be surprised if he's not offered soon.

In Oden's case, if he were Irish I'd bet he was switched to D start of second year (once we pick up a 2017 QB).

A four star QB committed to Maryland... yep, shits crazy out there son.

I think a majority of his commitment was due to proximity to home and walking in day 1 and being the starter. Edsall being fired doesn't change that but how bad Maryland is, I would think, should be taken under consideration.

Why is ND considering a pro style qb? That isnt BK's system. Makes no sense why we would even spend the resources recruiting someone that is efficient in a system that we dont run.

Is like recruiting a NG with zero ability to move in a 4-3 defense that relies on DL for pass rush.
