So at church small group the hosts had papa johns' cheeseburger pizza... Not gonna lie, for fast food pizza, it was pretty good, especially since I was hungry as hell....

Reminded me of a fast food crapy version of this pretty popular food truck pizza called WTF Pizza (wheres the fire) here in town, they have a pastrami pizza that's just unreal... Love odd ball stuff like that when it actually works, which these two do...

Wtf can be found here, real good good in general...

Cut in half, bake upside down. Scoop out the "noodles". I am very pleased. A definite alternative to pasta. I also used them in a Thai curry soup recipe from Thug Kitchen.

We often make reg spaghetti with those noodles, in fact i haven't done normal spaghetti noodle in years...

Apologies for the confusion. We joined a local CSA ( community supported agriculture) and get season veggies and eggs from the local farms. This was one of the veggies in my mates share and I haven't really ever used it much. I am loving it.

We get the BEST spaghetti squash from of all places... 99 Cent Only for you guessed it 99 cents ea. I could seriously eat them everyday.

My girl prepares them like you did above then flips them, packs the noodles back in the skin, adds her marinara, mozzarella and bread crumbs on top then throws them back in the oven. So simple, so perfect.

I cannot get behind boiled peanuts, just don't like them. Maybe I need to try them hot. IDK.

Never had the hot ginger ale.

Never had the hot ginger ale.

It's not a hot drink. It literally will unclog any sinus' in the vicinity though.

Haha, funny stuff, never even heard of the peanuts or ginger ale... I make shrimp n grits all the time, but do a south west version with green chile and pepper jack, I'm a big tea guy and sweet tea is ok, but I have had southerners make their version for me and my reaction matches the video, WAY too much sugar... I do love just unsweetened tea or Arnold Palmers tho...

I've always wanted to do this same concept with Mexican food from out here... I've had mexican food from the south, Midwest, and up north and I'm convinced the rest of the country has never had good mexican, I think it would blow their mind....

When it comes to southern food in general... My champions are red beans and rice and collard greens... Collards are like my very favorite side dish period... Cook mine with salt pork instead of ham hock, that's the key....

I cook a little. But nothing special. I love to smoke and grill. But I'd love to learn to actually cook. All you home chefs, any websites or apps to look in to?

I bought a spaghetti squash the other day to try, but I've never cooked one or eaten one. How do you guys prep it, cook it, and any suggested recipes?

For this, when I first tackle any recipe I just google and go with what feels right, then grow from there

ACamp is not only right, but wise as well.

Prepare the basic squash and then get funky, wonky or all-kinda-foodie.

Make a nest of the "spaghetti" and fill it with other veggies, sausage, ground beef, etc. then sprinkle with a cheese of choice (maybe bread crumbs as well) and then place under the broiler for a bit to brown.

Go with your flow till you get it right.

Never forget butter.
