Still don't see the harm in letting Cage visit for the banquet when ESB is still taking calls, still looking for visits, and still publicly uncommitted. What's the worst that happens? Cage enjoys his visit but you tell him esb currently has the last spot?

Maybe ESB was singing a different tune at the time.

Per TV, they believe its more of a ploy on behalf of the family to gain attention for his younger brothers. They don't believe at this stage its something we should worry about. However, the staff is very aware of this interest from Michigan and we have had started up dialogue with Cager again. Pushing for a visit could come if ESB does indeed follow through on this.

Again, why on earth not let Cager visit for the banquet? I definitately don't agree with that move by the coaching staff.

While I agree it will look like a stupid move in hindsight. They simply don't view WR as a huge need so they can be selective. Even if we miss on both we'll be fine. Plenty of good players coming in and on the roster. Also, I imagine that if we were to miss on ESB then that might open the door to add an ATH that has more flexibility (Ex. Jennings).

Yeah ESB would probably be the biggest luxury in this class. It'd be awesome to have him but he's definitely not a must have

ESB has been on my wish list since June but with the solid WR's we have now + the incoming ones, I think Alize should be our main target. Still, I want BOTH!

They are only must have's once they are 70/1000/15 guys somewhere else.

I posted back in July that ESB was Irish... I think the family knows the power of the Industrial Recruiting Complex and are simply working on the brand

If ND feels the need the 30th will be the best shot.

Actually Cager is scheduled to come this weekend. Originally was the 30th but had a track meet so he rescheduled. His situation hasn't changed. The thought right now is that he still doesn't have a committable offer. Charlot may be the wildcard for Cager. If Charlot flips, Cager probably commits shortly after. If Charlot stays committed, then the Cager offer may or may not happen.

Now ACamp... you know the "facts." That means that now you can recklessly make up whatever you want to say about Cager.

I thought this was funny so I'll share. In the Alize Jones article that Wiltfong put up he wrote that Alize was commit #24, a poster called him on it and said he was actually #23. Witlfong replies I was thinking ahead to ESB.

I think it's pretty clear he is the silent commit.

Oh yea, totally agree. I just think its funny that he fudges up publicly and at this point doesn't even try to really cover it up.

That is pretty funny. We might as well consider the brothers commits too haha

If we get ESB and keep the rest of the class, Wimbush is going to have a spoil of riches to throw to when his time comes.

By the time Wimbush takes over, everyone associated with this team will be in the NFL or on Wall Street.

Wimbush will probably complete more passes in 2019 to kids currently in middle school.

I've been hearing a lot about his brothers. How good are they? I know Osiris is a highly rated WR. Who's the other(s)?

Youngest brother is Amon-Ra St. Brown. He's a 2018 recruit, only a high school freshman still. But from all accounts, he's cut from the same cloth as his two older brothers, Osiris and Equanimeous.

Only highlights I've found on him.

I watched the highlights of ESB against Bishop Gorma--obvious excellent competition. He has two long catches, one for a TD, and another big first down catch.

I had been hearing he had a tough season, I think because of an injury, but he looked fine in that game!

Definitely a tough season, and a little underwhelming. However, as I've stated in the past. His QB Travis Waller just wasn't very good and is insanely overrated. I think this had a lot to do with it.

ND will take home the craziest name awards 3 years in a row with these guys.
