Well I didn't say that. I mentioned that Admiral was a better ball player, which honestly, you can make that argument. Am I saying he's the best ever? No. Did I say he has more star power? No.

You need to hook me up with your weed dealer. I mean I get good stuff but you have the loudest shit in the game

I'm comparing their careers by their respective positions, so it's perfectly reasonable. Lebron is one of the best forwards to play the game, but Admiral is one of the best big men to play the game. Let's not forget that besides his gaudy stat line and achievements, he mentored another one of the games greatest big men, Tim Duncan.

By almost every single possible metric, by the eye-ball test, by probably every expert in the world...LeBron is the FAR better player.

Love the Admiral, but LeBron is other-worldly. And I'm a Magic/Kobe guy. But LeBron > Admiral and it isn't even close. This is an argument why exactly?

And sorry Sean, being a great mentor means nothing in this. Might as well say Robinson is better than Jordan too LOL.

The Bosa family very much reminds me of Spike's family from Little Giants. They grew up waking up to a bowl of cheerios with a few scoops of creatine mixed in.

Why is the family anti-Notre Dame again?

They're not anti ND, they're just anti anything that stops them from focusing on football. I've read quite a few of their fathers interviews and it doesn't get more I don't care about anything other my kids playing football. With that said provided Joey stays healthy he will be a millionaire soon enough.

Too bad the family is so short sighted.

I just heard that the Bosa boys mother is a Kumerow. I don't know if any of you remember Eric Kumerow from Chicago I think he played at Fenwick and probably lived in the Melrose / Elmwood / Oak Park / River Forest area for reasons I'll get into later. He played at Ohio State and then a short time in Miami where he (and his sister I assume) played with John Bosa. Kumerow spent his last year with the Bears.

The interesting part of this is.... Kumerow's Dad was a big time union leader, Teamsters or Laborers, in Chicago and his mom was the daughter of Tony Accardo.

If your not from Chicago that might not mean much to you but he's the guy that called the shots for the mob for half the century. He's the guy who got the skim in Casino.

And that's the reeeeest of the story.

So what I'm trying to say is....

If Gerry Faust would have given Eric Kumerow a scholarship, the Bosa's would be at ND! The curse is still alive!

His final four came out today: OSU, UF, FSU, and ND. No expectations here obviously, but it is fun to be in contention for a top 10 recruit in the class with the potential he has. You never know what could happen on a visit to ND also.

Thanks for the update and not directed at you but I've never been less confident in getting a recruit when we make his top 4 than I am right now.

Seeing OSU fans melt down after losing Eichenberg AND Bosa to ND would give me a level of schadenfreude that would last a lifetime.

Bosa said he’s narrowed his decision down to four schools — the Buckeyes are included — and he hopes to make his college choice in the near future.

“I cannot say it is definite, but I should have my decision made this summer,” Bosa told Scout. “It is down to Florida State, Florida, Notre Dame and Ohio State. I know it will be one of those schools.”

Because of his ties to Ohio State, Bosa has already visited the Buckeyes several times. It’s part of the reason why he told Scout right now Ohio State is his current leader, though he still does intend to visit the other schools.

“Ohio State is on top and it does have the edge,” Bosa told Scout. “I have not been able to take other visits yet, so it is impossible for any other school to have that edge. I have visited Ohio State a lot, I know the coaches there and I am comfortable there, so I do have to give them the edge right now.”

A decision could be on the horizon soon, though.

“Ohio State is there right now, but I have to look at the other schools a little more. Until I have something to compare Ohio State to, I cannot make a decision,” Bosa told Scout. “I see my decision coming pretty soon, though. I do not think it will take me that long to know where I want to go.”

Urban and his big bro asked him to include ND, that way they can say he picked OSU over ND lol.

I am certain that this is a gimmick started by OSU. The Bosa family actually dislikes ND lol.

I was wondering what made people so sure that we don't stand a chance. How do people know that his family dislikes Notre Dame? Is there a story? I mean, he goes to a catholic school that ND is usually respected at.

Just seems weird that if we were really just getting played, then what a lame thing to do. Not only would it be unnecessarily disrespectful, but also a slight that no one would get or care about. Why would they waste their own time?

Nothing specific Wooly, i think its more just a collection of things-
-Joey was very clear that he was not a fan of the Irish, and made several comments about how much he disliked ND on twitter during his recruitment (including openly rooting against us during games).
- His family appears to be very focused on achieving excellence in their athletic careers, rather than academic. Not saying they dont care about academics, but they are threating their football very professionally and looking at the best situation that will allow them to push on into NFL stardom. The academic v athletic mix, schedule-wise and focus-wise, is not going to be in our favour with the Bosa. We do have a glaring need for his skill-set and a NFL-experienced DC, so theres that.

Having said that, we-ve seen more right-field commits.

Not sure if you were joking but this actually makes a lot of sense.

Sadly I was not joking. As IM3 said, it's almost surely a ploy for headlines when he eventually pops for pOSU. I have a friend that generally has some good OSU info, and he told me a bit ago that any mention of ND would most likely be a simple troll job because 'crootin.

I would love it if Wooly is right and ND pullS it out of the woodwork and actually gets a shot.
