I'm glad we landed Wimbush and I think he'll be great, but if things went the staff's way, Barnett would still be our QB.

Did you see the SMC - Santiago game 'nuke? I'm not sure if ND really cares about Barnett over Wimbush or vice versa but after seeing Costello play twice this year, I bet they'd take him over both of them and a truckload of communion wafers. Kid is money.

Costello is a great player but its important to point out that ND has had him on campus and still hasn't offered and I don't think they plan on it at this point. So, not sure what your saying is very accurate in that regard.

That's a fair response. They are after Henry instead. Costello is the best QB I've seen this year and that includes Henry, Barnett, Rosen, Waller, White, Darnold and Town. To be honest, besides Rosen, it hasn't been close.

As a implied comparison, a truckload of communion wafers seems out of context and does not come off as being very imaginative or appropriate. It's a faulty use of hyperbole, especially at a Catholic University. But, kid is money works.

If Kiel was a fit, Costello would fit also. I saw Kiel play in high school... they look a lot alike.

I'm not complaining, I'll be thrilled if Zaire, Kizer, Wimbush and Henry are all on the roster in '16.

Also, they offered Eason who is a traditional pocket / pro style QB.

I think he would have been just fine at ND and probably could have been to Zaire what Mirer was to Rice. (If he could have beat out Kizer and Wimbush)

EDIT: I just checked out her instagram and have a funny story. So I went to the beach a few weeks ago with the lady friend and we were sitting down by the water reading. Yeah, she doesn't look 16, and you'd think she's at least 18 if he's a freshman at 'Bama and they're doing this thing long distance.

She might be 18, actually. Website says she was 16 in April of 2014. At the very least she's currently a Senior in high school.

Pretty sure for most (if not all states) that it's legal if the relationship started when both were minors. Flake probably started dating here in high school, so it'd most likely be legit.
