No turnovers have played a major role in the last 5 games. The kicking game has contributed but the main reason for the losses are TURNOVERS!

Right. The hold wasn't perfect, but the ball was in the right place at the right time. Brindza's got to kick that thing. He may not have confidence in Zaire right now - which certainly matters here - but that's something he needs to work through.

I was at the game and the kick was at the opposite end, but the snap and hold looked good enough from where I sat.

Cage should be the holder. He'd look damn good back there and it couldn't get any worse. This shat needs to be automatic. Though the last two games shouldn't have come down to a FG...it's cost us two games.

Smith is your only chance for Brindza to get his head back in it. Also need to look forward to who is the solution longer term and Zaire ain't it.

Smith is the better choice. He has had he poor moments, but Kyle seems so much more comfortable with him. The last thing you want is dissention now.

2nd String QB = he takes plenty of snaps in practice all week

Punter = obviously we don't have this luxury but Punters handle snaps all week too.

Best WR = Smardjdza (sic) was the man for 2 years under Wies as WR's should have the best hands on the team...

Yeah, I'd have to say whoever does the holds should be a frosh/soph so they get the experience. It probably shouldn't be Malik, even though it's a way to get him on the field. Malik could be playing next year, who knows what will happen with Golson. Better that someone else gets the reps. I'm in favor of a WR with good hands.
