My response is the same. I have a morbid interest in the sexual vice industry, and have read a fair amount about it.
I'm with OMM, Rack and greyhammer. When this was just a TMZ story about their date at the Knick's game, it could be shrugged off with a wink and a chuckle. Now that there's a naked selfie of them in bed together, it may be reaching a point where ND has to take action. Not good for either the University or Justin.
Yesterday I was thinking about the odd power dynamics at work here. The vast majority of commercial sex workers were sexually abused as children, and hard drug use is rampant among them. It's a very exploitative industry. But between Justin and Lisa, the normal power dynamic is reversed-- she's 42, wealthy, and famous, while he's just a 19-year-old college freshman with a bright future in football. The fact that Lisa seems to seek out young athletes like Justin makes me wonder if she just enjoys the reversal, or whether she's just doing it for publicity. Either way, Justin is likely being used.
Which is fine, as far as it goes. But this is not the sort of publicity the University wants or needs. Fortunately, if Justin decides this isn't how he wants to present himself to the world (or that he wants to represent his University better), he can easily pass it off as a poor testosterone-fueled decision made a young man who was dazzled by the fame and beauty of an older woman. It happens all the time with powerful older men and young impressionable women. Can't see why it wouldn't be forgiven here for the same reason.
And for those of you who are inclined to blow this off, I would be very surprised if this isn't somehow a violation of du Lac. There's surely some broad language in it about scandalizing the University, regardless of where such action occurs. So if the administration comes to the conclusion that Justin's recent actions reflect poorly on the school, I doubt the fact that this happened in another state or that Justin himself didn't post the photos will make much difference.
