I'm curious about you bringing up Theo. When I think of on-the-field heart, Cam has carried the torch that Theo lit.

He's consistent, follows through with his assignments, has big game experience, has decent hands, doesn't run with breakaway speed, but is gritty and will put his nose right at you.

Is it possible for Cam to have a breakthrough year or has he maxed out his playing potential?

There is often more to see from a person with will and determination, and an improved Cam wouldn't surprise me in the least.

I don't have a problem with Cam seeing the bulk carries if he continues to improve on what he's demonstrated.

An upperclassman with great leadership and character on and off the field can be a galvanizing force for the younger guys as they continue to develop.

With that said, I trust the coaches, and I'm excited to see all these guys run the ball.

Folston is definitely my kind of back. And I can't wait to see what Bryant adds to the mix.

It's pretty exciting, fellas.

I agree that Cam plays hard and maximizes his potential. I just think every single positive that's listed, besides being a senior and having big game experience, you can also list for the other two back on our roster and they have more skills that can be highlighted. We've heard Greg Bryant and Folston have really good hands. They have similar compact frames, they can both cut on a dime.

The biggest thing going for Cam is that he has proven he can read the blocks. Given the ratings of our two young backs, I believe they can read them just as effectively but have the added benefit of maximizing the openings they see, they also have the ability to make something out of nothing.

They all should've gotten better but those who had the most to learn, now have had a year in the system and are expected to do big things. I'm happy we have three RBs that we are comfortable with and I hope they all have big years.

This is nicely articulated, and difficult to disagree with. As far as leadership goes, each of them should be ready to carry their lion's share. I will always remember Folston as a freshman going to the OL after scoring and paying his respect. That was very encouraging to see. It's gonna be fun to witness how it all plays out. I expect the chemistry between all of them to be pretty solid.

Could you imagine the running game we'd have if Hood didn't flip to UNC..

My god.

When Golson tosses the Gatorade cooler, it fills 96 paper cups, perfectly.

Kid is a bus with some wiggle. We got ourselves a stud RB for 2.5 more years not even counting Bryant.

Some of us have been saying all offseason that Folston was the man.

Some of us.

BK finally knows that now too.

b/c down the stretch in weeks passed Cam would have been in, but last night we had our best RB for most of the game.

I was impressed with his running, head and shoulders the best rusher.

His blitz pickup technique still needs work. I don't know how many he threw yesterday. I think he's improved significantly this season but the whiff wasn't close.

He sure did...

Yes he did. Consistently moved the chains and got some tough yards all night. Needs to keep work on his blocking though. Got beat pretty bad on the last play of the game. With that said, he is by far the best RB we have and needs to touch the ball 20 times per game going forward.

Yup.

Stud.

Far and away the best total back we have.

Unfortunately, his missed block was atrocious.

He dropped his head. It seems his pickup is where it should be, its the technique that needs work.

A little surprised we didn't see a true RB screen. Given how aggressive FSU was, seemed like it might have helped.

Anyone see how open he was on the Golson INT?

Awful just dreadful, but it will be alright we all need work at certain things.
