Injuries and suspensions...ugh. Hope Riggs is 100% for next week. I know he went back in, but he may not feel so hot tomorrow when he wakes up. Losing Collinsworth again would suck too.

You guys better come up with some great signs. God knows Winston's given you enough ammo!

I think Collinswoth is done. Same shoulder he had surgery on.

I really don't know where our offense is going to come from. They have LBs that can lock down any WR not named Fuller if they wanted. Their starting corners are as fast or faster than Fuller if Darby's healthy. Bryant's not been as great as we had hoped. Hopefully Folston can keep it going and the OL can somehow have a switch come one... IMO, we're going to be embarrassed if Golson's asked to do it all on his own.

If it was in south bend I would feel just a tiny bit better. Hard to believe this will be our first true road game. No chance in Tallahassee. This one could get ugly fast.

Have you watched any FSU football this year? They're not planet eaters by any stretch.

This is the game. This will tell us whether we're legit playoff contenders or not. No room for the faint of heart. It is sad to see people on here throwing in the towel 7 days out.

We may not win but damn going around thinking about how we're going to get rocked out there like Charlie Weis is still walking the sidelines is a depressing way to go through life.

Fla State has serious issues running the ball. And I am sure BVG can develop a game plan that allows him to take advantage of that issue. Maybe that will allow him to find ways to get pressure on crab boy. He will make mistakes if pressured. The FSU defense as well is nothing like last year and I gotta think the Irish can get in some of those seams and gaps to move the ball.

At home I would take the Irish straight up. On the road, it will be harder... but sure not impossible.

The Tar Heels average 36 points a game and wouldn't have come close to that if it weren't for our mistakes.

FSU gave up 41 to NC State in a 56-41 game earlier this year.

FSU beat Syracuse by 18, we beat them by 16.

On average FSU is scoring 39 per game this year, we are averaging 34.5

On average FSU opponent's have scored 20.66, our opponents have scored 17.16

FSU average margin of victory 18.34, ours is 17.34

We can beat these fools as long as we don't beat ourselves.

GO IRISH!!

if golson's asked to do it all? you mean. like not fumble 100 times, throw ship passes or not get rid of his case of pussyitis? the o will be just fine as long as we don't fck ourselves AGAIN...golson can be the difference - he turns the ball over like the last 3 weeks its not good, he plays his game we win...hes great, but so far were not 6-0 because of his fantastic play

Feels like the 2012 OU game. ND really has nothing to lose, gonna be a double digit dog, bring it.

There is one simple rule to follow when betting on ND. As long as you follow these 2 rules consistently you will make a lot of money.

1. ALWAYS bet ND as an underdog and

2. NEVER bet ND as the favorite.

My Dad (who is gone now) used to say there was a saying when he was a kid. "Don't bet against Joe Louis/New York Yankees and Notre Dame" I wish I had bet when they were +24 because I think they will play very well in the 'Doak'. Just as I felt they would really struggle against UNC I feel they will show up ready to rock in Tallahassee. I wouldn't even be surprised if they run the ball down there better than any game this year. Kelly will have his hands all over this game. Cant see them winning because I'm from the Holtz school of 'how can we beat these guys' but this game will be played at a high level by the Irish. I'm on record from this spring saying Golson will be more impressive than Crablegs-I'll stick with it.

The way the offense always seems to sputter in the first quarters and Golson giving up turn overs, compiling the fact that our defense just got exposed today, I don't really feel confident about ND's chances against FSU. FSU has been playing really well the last two week. But if we fix things up this week, we can beat them

They have no pass-rush. Featherston is the best pass-rusher but yesterday he had a lot of problems with contain and angles. Not impressed by their defense. A Syracuse DB dropped an interception and since then, Winston dominated the game playing really well. PJ Williams was burned for a TD and Darby has a lot of troubles when he has to tackle.

Also, the local sports talk guy, Jeff Cameron, probably gave the worst reason For ND to lose. He said that ND would not play well because it's a College Gameday night game on the road in front of a national audience. Sounds familiar...

To add to that Jimbo Fischer is a great oc and he now have the blueprint to our defence. Van Gorder have his wrk cut out for him.

Maybe BVG and the team will make adjustments. Plus the team should not come out flat in Tallahassee.

I think our biggest matchup is Jarron Jones vs. their new starting center. He didn't look good yesterday and allowed guys to get in Winston's face a few times. He needs to bring it like he did against Michigan and Stanford.
