Great jobs guys. As usual, I'm now watching all the archives for the hundredth time trying not to run through a brick wall while wearing a bloody skunkbear pelt as a hat.

Protect This House Fridays

No video for this week?!

TP and WM said they are only doing about 4 this year due to family commitments. They also affirmed, declared, promised, and swore all 4 would be 20 minutes long and come with a "love it or $5 billion vbuck refund guarantee."

*one of those sentences is true

They've been buys prepping their tailgate in Indy this week. It's at the Claddaugh Irish Pub if you weren't aware and it looks like it's awesome. Head over there if you're in the area.

This will be the Protect This House Friday Video...Released a bit early, sorry about that. Original music featuring Austin Collinsworth auto tuned by us here at Priests of Beat. We also assembled the video.

Nice. I can't actually listen to it right now since I'm at work, but the video work looks good.

Don't know if we'll get an epic TP video this week but we finished our ND project with originally produced music featuring Austin Collinsworth auto tuned by us here at Priests of Beat. We also assembled the video.

Great video. Great track, even though it's a little traps for me. Way to rep 702. Maybe a DnB track next times?

Yes, the track is definitely Trap. Wanted our own, Turn Down For What. You must be from Las Vegas then correct?
DnB could definitely be a possibility. Dubstep is in the future for sure.
Thank you for your support!

As the man said, I released it a bit early so thats my mistake. Senior Day will be something pretty special!
Look forward to working with TP on this!

Whatevs.

WTF?

What if?

Wat ... Weight?

Not a fan of auto-tuning when it steps out of bounds. Or encroaching. Or interfering. Or clipping.

Imma old fart. Nuff said.

Wooo, I predicted correctly! Looking forward to this, always cool when you can see two talented people collaborate on a project.

I finally got to watch the new PoB video with audio, pretty cool stuff. I think this may have been your best work to date.

No kidding? Do you DJ as well? We have been in and out of 702 quite often.

What constitutes 'out of bounds'. So there is Auto-tuning 'in bounds' that you are a fan of?? Please supply a demo of such.
And auto-tuning is the only problem you had with this video/music? I somehow find that very suspicious.

Yes, I remember you predicting as much! We're looking forward to it as well.
Fantastic. Glad you liked it. Thank you.

Really liked this one POB, excited to see you continue releasing stuff.

I'm with the others in that, at most maybe one line should be used from interviews. I love having historic words in the mix but they can detract from the music (which I think has gotten much better as of late).

Keep it crunchy. 808 drums. All. Day. Long.

I have no clue what I'm talking about when it comes to music but great work so far.

It's a matter of taste. I've had, over the years, no problem with the likes of tremolo, vibrato, etc. on organs. I loves me some Hammond B-4. The Moog Synthesizer had its place when used in moderation. Electric violin can be masterful. The electric guitar was a game changer in many, many ways. Bottle neck slides, whammy bars, wah-wah pedals and such are great. I still enjoy the many iterations acoustic though.

My understanding (which may be faulty) is that auto-tune was initially developed to tweak vocal pitch in order to save studio time and "salvage" not-so-hot singers. Good examples would be difficult to cite since they would be subtle and behind the scenes. It's quite the toy, but I feel that it's overused and often abused. To me it's reminiscent of Alvin and the Chipmunks. Cute but annoying.

Pretty awesome video! Love the touch with the black and white mixed in at the end with the Stanford 2012 goal line stand!

Holy Sh1t! My favorite one yet. I got the chills at the end with the close up of just the goal line and then the shot of Manti. I knew what we were about to see. Great video!
