I don't think anyone expected commits this past weekend or at II. Both of the experiences you mentioned provided good results and most of the guys are scheduling officials or return visits later. Its not an emergency like your post seems to claim. Most of the recruits left on our board are big timers that are probably gonna go to the end of their recruitment anyway.

Jones is coming back in December. That is a REALLLLY BIG positive.

So if we expected a commit at Irish Invasion or at the Michigan game, even when Wilfong and Loy were saying there very well maybe some, we don't understand the recruiting process?

If you look at it from the flip side, would you have been shocked if one of Coney/Soso/Malik gave a verbal this weekend? Maybe so but I wouldn't have been shocked.

Understandable but I think some players are still just a bit skittish about ND right now. We had a hangover year after the blowout by Alabama. We need to keep winning big games and these young men will have their worries melt away.

'15 class may get some rejuvenation soon with Jamabo and Bilal and '16 is already shaping up nicely. I say it too much but, win and everything else falls in line.

A lot of people are now pretty optimistic about ND's chances. Landing Aliz'e would be HUGE, not only for his talent, but to continue building relationships / a pipeline into BG.

And just for perspective, he's visited ND unofficially 3 times. Still planning to use his OV. So he'll have visited 4 times over the last two years. Thats some serious interest.
