Scout: He said he loves NDs OL coach but he really didn't like BK. Overall he liked ND a lot but was concerned some with playing time due to our depth. Sounds like Michigan is right there at the top if not tops though.

Kid of his caliber shouldn't be worried about depth honestly
OL we've brought in over the last two cycles. To be fair, ND will arguably have the deepest and most talented OL in the country by 2015. Can hardly fault a kid, even one as talented as Liam, for being intimidated by the sheer volume of 4OL we've brought in over the last two cycles.
You have to have more perspective than that. I think it would be arrogant for a player to be completely unconcerned about depth. Just because you're "really good" doesn't mean you're better than the other guys in front of you. Matt Ryan is a fine quarterback, but he probably wouldn't want to go join a team that already had Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady on the roster. To be fair, if you're a stud and you have confidence in yourself you shouldn't worry about depth or competition. Cream always rises to the top!

I think you missed my point. Being confident isn't the same as being arrogant. He should have the confidence in himself to know that if he's good enough he will eventually see the field regardless of the depth. You're also comparing apples to oranges, five positions to one.
The unique aspect of Eichenberg's recruitment is his connection to Kraemer. A few weeks ago, Eichenberg told me he and Kraemer have talked about have talked about playing at the same school. Although he has given fewer indicators than Kraemer, that would essentially make it a winner-take-all competition between Ohio State and Notre Dame. I am not confident in where the Buckeyes stand with Eichenberg; I am picking him to sign with Notre Dame.
From Elevenwarriors about 3 days ago. Lots of kids talk about playing together, but it doesn't always happen. Here's to hoping.
Ohio State's Important Ohio Recruits for 2016 | Eleven Warriors
Kraemer said in talking with BGI that a lot of the Ohio kids have talked about playing together at the same school and he's going to try and make that ND.
According to 247's profile, Eichenberg isn't scheduled to visit Notre Dame this season. He is however penciled in for Michigan vs Ohio State. There are only three home games left, two if one considers that he more than likely won't be there for North Carolina. Needless to say, it would be awesome to get him to campus this season and have Kraemer and Hausmann come to the game too
Also of note, Kraemer (Elder HS) plays Hausmann/Taylor (Moeller HS) this Friday. Hausmann then plays Eichenberg (St. Ignatius HS) the following week. The week after that, Hausmann/Taylor will play Crawford (St. Edward HS). Crawford then plays Eichenberg's St. Ignatius the week after that. Ohio big time parochial football is one big happy family...hopefully one big Notre Dame happy family.
