This attitude pisses me off. It's not like he got an MIP or even a DUI. He should absolutely be punished severely, and his football talents don't make a bit of difference. He can get his second chance AFTER he finishes dealing with the consequences,

Does this guy have a clue? I would consider a string of bad decisions an inherent character flaw.

I am all for helping young people along the way and have posted so out here several times but when is enough enough? I don't really agree with OU here as DGB has had plenty of chances to do the right thing. At some point, he has to learn to give more than he takes.

Sadly there are too many kids today that never learn that lesson.

I would be shocked if he played a down... He will apply for the waiver, no way he gets it... and he will declare for draft next year....

Push a girl down stairs, usually doesn't qualify as hardship waiver

The way the NCAA makes its rulings these days don't be surprised if he does play.

OU should get destroyed for that. So it took an NFL player to knock is finace unconscious before you wouldn't accept a transfer from someone who knocked a girl down the steps?

Gotcha. Stoops and OU have no morals nor a soul.

They still can make the call on Mixon as he could be kicked out now without losing another year of eligibility.

@BruceFeldmanCFB: Bob Stoops said Dorial Green Beckham informed him a week ago that he intends to enter the NFL draft.

What was the point of him transferring to OU?

He probably thought he could xfer and get a waiver to play that same year(last year).

He made 2 mistakes that resulted in his waiver getting denied:

1. Jim Mora is not coaching at OU
2. No sick grandma

Hopefully for this young man he has realized that he really messed up. As long as he works at getting better and strong her will be a big time player in the NFL.
