Read some reports on the UM scrimmage, a couple takeaways:

Peppers is a boss and starting at CB. He slides to Nickel versus 3+ WRs.

Their run game is brutal. Pass game should be decent. How the OL comes together will be a huge part of the success or failure of both.

Defense is expected to be pretty good.

Good thing Notre dame plays them early, before the line jells.

Hopefully Devin doesn't have another Heisman performance against us. Every fucking year it happens. This game should be real interesting.

Our O-line needs to come together too by all reports. Not real worried about it tho cuz HH is a wizard and we have a ton of talent there to work with. But I always find myself wishing we played Michigan later in the season. They usually fall apart as the season goes (in the last 5 or so years) and we usually come together and finish stronger. Maybe it's just me tho.

I'm hoping we still have all of that, plus a solid W.

It was a beautiful game, I've never been so drenched, but it was awesome. There were waterfalls cascading down the steps of the stadium. Michigan could NOT hang onto the ball for shit. The final score doesn't indicate how one sided the game really was. Michigan couldn't do anything right really. I'd love for another wet game like that one.

If it wasn't for the 7 turnovers we might have lost that game. 98 was the last true beat down.

Thanks for the clip. I remember that game very well. Would love to close the series the same way.

7 turnovers or not, that '08 game was well in hand if you were there, we pumped the breaks once Brian Smith scored on the fumble right at the start of the 4th. We only attempted 3 passes for the rest of the game, we basically just ate clock. Seriously, Michigan couldn't do crap in the 2nd half when the rain was pouring.

Here is how to really fuck Michigan this year : line up our defense without a Mike linebacker; that way Gardner won't know where the pressure is coming from. No wait. That would guarantee him a Heisman performance.

I got it, then line two linebackers up inside, and don't tip which one is the Mike. No, wait a minute, we tried that.

I know, just let BVG and the defense hear his statement. Then let BVG dial it up!
