I mean this in the best possible way but every school I have ever been to or visited or held a conversation with regarding Communications, is that it is a joke major. Am I wrong? My experience is that it is on the level of bottom barrel major at any public institution.

Agreed. Most of the people I knew in college who majored in Communications basically had no idea what else to major in.

That and Philosophy.

Kid is all about options I guess. Wouldn't be surprised to see this become more common though since you get the extra semester if you EE and take courses over the summers.

“The faster he can get his degree, the better off he is,” Lance said. “God forbid you have to transfer, or you can go to the NFL, or he can work on his master’s. ... You always have to prepare for situations that come your way down the road. Hopefully, [transferring] is a situation he doesn’t see himself in. ... Get your degree as soon as possible, and worry after that. You’re not penalized then.”

Someone is going to enroll early, redshirt, go to summer school full load through the summer between sophomore and junior year, graduate... then immediately enroll at another school and have 3 years left at their next stop.

They could pull it off with the hours if the classes were available as they needed them. Probably need to be a big state school.

Is that allowed by the NCAA? I know of a basketball player who had 2 years remaining after graduating.

Hmmm?

Do EE's ever redshirt?

Either way seems like a lot of effort to go to a new school.

I'm not sure one way or the other if any ever have. Not saying they would do it in order to transfer... just that someone is going to do it. According to chaos theory... it's a lock.

Who do you prefer, Barnett or Henry? Not only as a players, but also the situation. I mean, i prefer a QB in 2016, i think when you take a QB every year, transfers will be coming. Otherwise, i think the depth chart and things are clearer.

My Chiropractor is telling me that Blake will EE to Bama, heavy summer school it and graduate after summer session of sophmore year, then transfer to Notre Dame as graduate student. Viola, best of both worlds in his mind.

I am on record right now that if Barnett's plans are to graduate in three years, he won't see the field very much during that time. Next year (Coker) is covered and the second year he has to beat out Cornwell. And I am not so sure he can do that just yet. We will see.
