If Lebron tweets 'I'm coming home'.

Over/under on retweets? I say 3 million.

Wonder if that means anything about Lebron making his choice. Just earlier today ESPN said Melo wouldn't announce before Lebron made a decision.

Lebron has meeting in LV with Riley today. Maybe this will all shake out by tomorrow afternoon.

Not shocking but he's definitely not winning anything for another two years minimum. At least in Chicago he would've had a fighting chance. LA was a middle ground (but still closer towards money), but I understand why he's staying. It'd be hard for me to walk away from 50 million dollars too.

Cleveland is doing everything it can:

Honestly, I hope LBJ leaves for Bosh's sake.

How is Miami going to reach the cap minimum of 58 million if Lebron and Bosh leave??

Wade would get full 20+, then?

Deng?
Trade with another team for a high expiring like Amare/Bargnani on the Knicks?

If they got Love, that team would be ridiculous. What would that starting lineup look like? Kyrie, Wiggins, Varejao, Love and Lebron...

Holy cow. Even if they couldn't get love, they should try to keep Deng. He would compliment Lebron really well.

Wiggins would definitely be a part of the trade. There's no way Minnesota would do it without him. I'm guessing it would be Wiggins, Thompson, and 2 First Rounders + cap fillers.

Irving
Waiters/Ray Allen
Lebron
Varejao
Love

Pretty dirty and fit well together.

I think Love would be the best compliment for the Lebron that he's ever had because he plays so well without the ball.

Would really be a perfect fit with those guys. A point guard who can get his own shot and a power forward that can both do work on the boards and stretch the floor. Then you get a complimentary two guard who's decent and the only weakness will be interior defense but you're going to be a good rebounding team.

Imagine if Anthony Bennett didn't totally suck...

It's finally hit me how lucky the Cavs have been with the draft. I knew they got 3 first rounders the last few years but only now has it really been so obvious how great it is for a team in terms of cap space and talent to get that benefit.

The question is, was it worth 4 years of not even making the playoffs to be in this position?

Haha, I saw articles that some NBA GM's have already written him off as a lost cause.

Greg Popovich signed a multi-year extension to remain coach of the Spurs. Great deal in my opinion and great coach to see the transition past the post-Duncan era.

I think so. They would be set up for multiple championships with that sort of lineup. There are a bunch of teams in the NBA that have never sniffed a single championship.

Tough break to have to let go of Wiggins though. Do you think that would allow them to sign Deng? As a Bulls fan, I like Deng a lot. He's a very underrated player.

The media has hyped up Lebron to Cleveland to the extent that it would feel like another betrayal if he doesn't go. Which is hillarious because he hasn't said or done anything.

I wouldn't say that he hasn't done anything. He opted out of his contract and had his agent meet with Cleveland before he even talked to Riley (weeks before). Then his silence during these past couple weeks has made it very apparent that he's listening.

Pair that with external incidents of Bosh looking around and the Cavs making clear moves in his pursuit, there is ample reason for the general public to make the current assumptions.

Any Cavs fans on this board? What's Cleveland like today?

Cavs fan, but do not live in Cleveland.

I am 100% torn on this. I still am butt hurt from before and I really am conflicted on whether I want Lebron back or not.

There is no way they are going to give Hayward a max deal. Windhorst is the one that reported that and he has been wrong about literally everything he has said during free agency so far.

Charlotte just did. Hayward is very underrated for only being in the league a few years. He's going to get better and better.

The best basketball player in the world might be coming back to your team and you are torn?

It's been great listening to talk radio the last couple days. City will go nuts if he comes back.

I didn't mean nothing period. I more meant nothing wrong. He's shown he's listening, but in the most quiet, on-the-down-low ways possible. It's just funny because even though he's been handling this a lot better so far, he's still going to COMPLETELY piss off Cleveland if he just elects to keep on doing what he's doing.

Seriously. If he came to the Grizz I would have a stroke and spontaneously orgasm at the same time.
