I see one of two things happening with him here. Next year he will either go to a D-II school just to stay in shape then go pro or just take the year off, train with NFL type trainers, then go pro.

He will not go to another top school and have to sit out a year, he is NFL ready (physically)

He should just take the year off and learn under the tutelage of NFL star Justin Blackmon.

So much hate for Justin Blackmon, the guys an alcoholic. He just needs help. He's fighting an addiction. This dude seems to be fighting intelligence.

Any millionaire that can't call a cab also has intelligence problems IMO.

What if Missouri players were in a union?

It would be impossible to get rid of him and none of the receivers could demonstrate above average ability to catch a pass lest they make the rest look bad. Every few years, the most outspoken receiver would get kneecapp....[have an accident with a baseball bat]....to keep the rest in line.

Missouri State is in Springfield, MO. He could go there, be at home, use that to stay in football shape, destroy the 1-AA level and go pro next year.

Wouldn't be a stressful year to say the least. He could and would do whatever he wanted without any issues.

big statement there from mizzou. sad thing for them on top of losing their best ever recruit is that in a year they will be facing him when he will be suiting up for LSU or Auburn :/

I guess they haven't been fully indoctrinated into the SEC just yet.

Surprised OU would take him. Thought he was done with D1 for at least this season.

Win at all costs I guess...

How embarrassed would you be if ND took a transfer like this?

He isn't doing this. He will go to the NFL after this year. You think he's gonna transfer to OU sit out a year, play a year at OU, then go to the NFL? No IMO

Exactly. He'll be at some FCS school. If not, he's a bigger idiot than he appears.

@BruceFeldmanCFB: Rivals #Oklahoma site reporting former #Mizzou WR Dorial Green-Beckham is on campus this morning visiting with #OU coaches.

This attitude pisses me off. It's not like he got an MIP or even a DUI. He should absolutely be punished severely, and his football talents don't make a bit of difference. He can get his second chance AFTER he finishes dealing with the consequences,

Wow, already visiting schools? Seems a bit premature, but I am not sure of all the charges and prosecutions of his case. The reports were nothing short of awful though. I hope he gets his life together and can be successful, but football should maybe be on the back burner for awhile IMO.

Pushing a woman down a staircase is 1 misstep? He was busted multiple times too for weed possession also.

The coaches aren't on campus so I'm not sure how far along this process is. I just don't see him going to OU given his ultimate goal of the NFL.

First, I think it's disgusting that any university (particularly one funded by taxpayers) would give this guy a scholarship (I'm assuming OU is paying for his tuition and room and board. If they're not and he's a walk-on, then it is a bit different, I suppose).

Second, what's the likelihood this dude ever actually plays a down in a game at Oklahoma? So I'm thinking this guy decided to go and be on the team at OU for a year rather than play at some non-Division 1 for a year. If I'm wrong and he actually sticks around for 2 years, then I revert back to my first statement.
