Again, I'm not saying you're wrong. I'm saying "we don't know." I'm also say that even if it went down exactly as you describe, it's probably not nearly as outrageous as everyone seems to think depending on the timeline. Don't mist big-time recruits try to graduate high school in December to avoid this kind of thing? There's a lot that needs to happen when you're talking about a kid who graduates in May and starts at ND in May.
I get it, you have your sources. But it's a lot easier for you to believe your sources than it is for me to believe a guy on the internet who says he has sources.

Football wise, I don't think this is a big blow. IMO, he's the 4th best LB in the 2014 class.
If ND admissions really did screw him over, let's wait for the details before we condemn them and sacrifice our fan-hood.

For me, this has less to about football and more to do with, what appears to me, as the school back tracking and ruining an opportunity.
There was a miscommunication breakdown somewhere. And he's paying for it.
I'm a believer in handshake deals and being a man of your word, thus my disappointment with the school.

i'm really surprised BK hasn't left already. this is only going to get worse and we will have an average head coach and coaching staff by the 2019 season if this continues.

Right, this is where some people going so far as to consider leaving the ND fan base are losing me. Even if it is academic, I'm not sure why that means that ND did something wrong. This could be a late-arising academic issue.

Maybe this is all a Sykes fit issue. The Trib article referenced one of the ND sites and sources and said it wasn't academic.
Doesn't him still being in school seem to indicate that it is not an eligibility issue? I mean if he were enrolled in courses, wouldn't that preclude any or at least most of the Tee issues?
I wonder if anyone knows (no disrespect intended) if Nile has a learning disability. Free help at a public university is available at ND, but would cost about $60,000. This was the case with another top recruit we lost about a year ago. ADA covers a lot of area. Public universities must provide all resources. Private universities that don't get federal assistance, don't. That is something that this could be about that is not likely to produce a forthcoming explanation.

Well guys, it's just a typical Notre Dame off season.
Wish Nile's nothing but the best moving forward. My brother told me earlier today Nyles was leaving ND and I almost had a heart attack. But it was NILE.
Usually 5 stars leave Notre Dame so it's a nice change. Good luck at Nile and hopefully you can be a impact player in the Big Ten.

I don't understand.
I just read somewhere it looks like he is headed to Indiana. So, while it's not a for sure thing I assume he is headed to Big Ten country to play his college football.

My point was he could have been talking about a player backing out, just as much as ND doing something wrong.
