i think II believes there are walk-on's in the program who are worth more than some scholarship players and those scholarship players will the ones shown the door
Which guys tho? I'm looking over the roster and most guys played meaningful snaps. Zinter was only a freshman last year and got in at times you aren't gonna show him the door, the rest of the guys either played a lot or are freshman coming in.

Don’t forget NIL can go to walk ons too. So getting $100k base NIL from the Fund and having to pay your TR&B still leaves you $$$ left over besides any other side hustle NIL you have going.

I’d have crushed NIL on my own back in the day leveraging my Dad’s and his buddy’s companies. Well crushed for the mid 80’s anyways.

Basically yes. There have been quite a few articles out there talking about the potential death of the walk-on with the new rules. With the shrunken roster sizes, there will certainly be far less walk-on's regardless.
Extremely sad day. Again, the professionalization of college football...

Pod was discussing the scholarship adjustment for this coming year and how ND is gonna be a little out of its comfort zone in telling guys, "welp, you gotta go."
I have no doubt that the staff will help those players find a home, and if the players are worried about not receiving a great education, they can always transfer to Stanford, NW, Duke, Vandy, etc.
