I think relationship with coaches OHIo St. has us beat but academic wise we have them beat, shock the world tells me IOWA or ND, because it isn't a shock if they pick OSU!

I'm not optimistic at all about either Hilliard or Cornell but I will say this. Considering all the trolling they do on Twitter it wouldn't be a stretch to think they have been keeping their true intentions to themselves to shock the world as others have alluded to. Maybe that means they both pick ND or both pick some other random team.

But probably going to be Buckeyes lol.

Would absolutely looooooove to land Hilliard, and I have no doubt Cornell could be molded into something useful down the road once they figure out where he fits. I've just got no faith and have heard nothing to make me feel better about either guy. I hope so badly that everyone "in the know" is way off here a la DaShawn Hand.

Lets face it Cornell has visited Notre Dame enough to know if he is a fit or not he has a great relationship with James Onwualu. Cornell did say he will make two more visits, is is slated to go to Friday Night lights at OSU, all things are pointing to OSU, but Loy's comment about him getting some interesting news about hilliard saying we aren't out of it yet.

LOL at 17 year old kids thinking they can "shock the world" by announcing where they're going to play college football.

Kids say "shock the world" and then they shock no one. I got the news about Cornell's announcement via text from an IE member, and the first thing I said was that I guarantee his recruitment isn't close to being over and that I'm glad he's not choosing ND. This kid loves the attention and the recruiting game too much to commit and be done with the recruiting game. Wait til his buddies start taking their OV's and he's stuck with his high school sweetheart Urban Meyer. Hell yeah he's gonna take his visits.

Hilliard seems like a great kid though...he did the process the way I'd want my son to...he as very thorough. If he wants to be a Suckeye (which I fully think he does), I'll be disappoined but I won't be pissed at him. But I do hope he handles his announcement with the same class he handled his recruitment...

Yeah Hilliard does seem to be a great kid and he did a masterful job going about the process. I hope in the end we get him, but obviously things are looking grim at the moment. Wish him the best of luck as he is a class act and a great player.

Scout: Talked top 5 with them. He is 90% sure he knows where he will go. He will keep his word and visit PSU post commit and possibly MSU. Then he will only OV to his school of choice. He basically said the same exactly thing about OSU and ND (just swap the coaches names basically in the statements).

FWIW, after checking with many sources Loy will be putting in his final CB predictions for both JC and Hilliard this evening and giving some info on why.

Mike Frank said he would be very surprised if Cornell picks ND, been little communication back-forth with ND.
