There's the dagger. Ordered 20 items and all but three were cancelled.

Meh.
I don't get it.
Then again I'm a "blue hair", frugal old fart.
Is there a Transformer type fabric involved?
Play the fucking game. Screw the runway. Screw change for the sake of change.
Before you go all "tradition: anything-else-be-damned" on me, keep in mind that I was at ND when the long, long standing "tradition" of it as an all male institution flipped. I was in favor of the change. Others were not.
It was a fundamental and permanent change, not a "dedicated follower of fashion" change. It was for the better and not a matter of pandering and bank balance.

Most of that stuff in the catalog looks pretty much the same as it always has, just with the UnderArmour logo instead of Adidas lol. Then again, there are only so many ways to put "ND" on a shirt.
Could anyone tell me how I could get a copy of the Sideline Catalog? I have checked the website and can't find any info. Thanks.

Does the catalog not have any jerseys in it? I don't expect anything crazy but I'd love to get an idea of what kind of "gold" they're going for. Any indication from the catalog pictures? I recently moved so I haven't gotten mine.
So in closing... WTF is the point of this post? I have a sneaking suspicion that you only wanted an excuse to post more outdated music.
You may well be correct.
I do ramble idly and aimlessly at times, but that tends to reflect my opinion on the topic at hand. I, a well-aged hippie, can't identify with people getting all a-quiver over clothing. Blue jeans have been a part of my life since I wore flannel lined "small boy" pants that my mother bought for me when I was a kid in the 1950's on Long Island.
Absurdly priced designer jeans made no sense the year (1977 - 1978) I lived in Miami. Minneapolis is a good "fit" for me. A blue jean is a blue jean is a blue jean. If a bargain basement Levi, Lee, or Dickies covers my ass, lasts a reasonable length of time and has a functional zipper I see no reason to pay for a designer brand.
The same holds for athletic gear. It comes down to material (100% cotton is a good thing) and the ability to absorb, wick or shed moisture. Label and fancy-schmancy graphics don't mean shit. The flannel lined jeans helped keep me warm slogging through snow or sledding. Fruit-of-the-Loom or Hanes didn't mean shit all the years I wore tighty whities in Orlando. All that mattered was comfort. I had serviceable Champion manufactured ND T-shirts and gym shorts, reasonably priced, while I was there.
More power to ND if they realize an economic benefit by switching to UA. It's a distraction. I get a kick out of the fervor.
As to the music: classic is classic. It makes no matter if it's Mozart, Benny Goodman or The Kinks. Social commentary is social commentary.
And the Gender Inclusion? Was that to compare importance? Because that's one heck of a strawman.
The Kinks are ok. A bit overrated IMO.
The coeducation reference was (cross-thread) to point out that I am not, in spite of my preference for "natural" turf, serious misgivings about that Crossing Thingy and my disappointment that the ranks of independent CFB teams is so seriously diminished is not based on any sense that "change = bad" regardless of circumstance.
Sheesh. I am twisted and playful. I thought that I'd made that as clear as the Big Muddy in April. Or late June with all the recent rain ...

Off topic, but I'll say it. I think Notre Dame should have stayed all male. Notre Dame and Saint Mary's would be a truly unique pair of elite schools with a one of a kind relationship to one another. As it is, Notre Dame more or less abandoned SMC and left them on the verge of financial ruin.

No worries bro. If I can't call you out for grammar, I'll have to settle for clarity quibbles.
As long as they don't wear anything fugly I don't care..........Sad part is they are throwing tradition to the wayside little by little.
this one is sweet
