The thing is, if we win, we could get Patrick or Soso instead. These are the type of guys that we can consistently pull if we win more games. Plus Ty'son is visiting Georgia soon and I think will likely commit to them shortly thereafter.

I doubt it matters. I'm pretty sure the staff is trying to take 2 RB's since they took none last year.

Now that White got his offer, he is a prime candidate. It got me thinking though, if he and Reid are similar prospects vying for the same spot, does this help push Reid's timeline up a bit? Just curious if this could be a motivational offer.

This still keeps the names to watch out for at Hilliard, Boykin, Bilal, and now White before the season starts to keep an eye on. Will be interesting to see how this all plays out.

The only solution to this is winning. If we go 10-2 this year, we will have our pick of the litter. This is such a crucial year for Kelly and our class. There is only so much leveraging we can do with ND and the magnitude of the degree. We need to win.

Isn't every year so "crucial," though. It always feels that way at the time.
As for winning, we went 12-0 two years ago, and while that probably helped us close the deal on Bryant and Folston, and maybe Redfield, I'm not sure there's anyone from this year's incoming class who you can point to and say "that's why." The bump doesn't last very long.
We are back in the conversation with lots of elite recruits, and that's great. That wasn't always the case. But we remain a small Catholic school in northern Indiana that expects you to go to class and be a solid citizen. There's only a narrow band of those elite recruits who want to buy what we're selling. That remains true whether we win 8 games or 10 or 12.

Worth mentioning, whereas last time it was clarified to be a 2015 prospect. Loy didn't not post which class the prospect is from so a start to 2016 could be a possibility

Really? I like that, especially with the prospects that are so high on us!

FWIW, Jake Brown and The Sampson agree that its Boykin to ND and Baker, Cornell, Hilliard to OSU.

I'm fine with that, Boykin is a great pick up can you imagine him and Robinson next year or in two years both on the outside I think are end zone problems will be solved. Also Sanders is a stud the kids gonna be a solid player for us.

Sounds like the expectation is White though, or at least Farrell has that expectation:

The follow up tweet seems to say that Adams was the "rumbling" he heard. I'll see if Loy posted in the thread and Adams is the commitment he expected tomorrow or not.

Interesting pickup with Adams. Wonder what would have happened if Tyson Williams made it to II.

Is there any reason to believe that Hilliard won't be choosing OSU on Wednesday with Cornell deciding to announce then too?

Thanks!
