This might be the straw that breaks the camel's back for me when it comes to following recruiting. I just don't know how to care anymore before NSD when the vast majority of prospects we target have huge flip risk and even the ones that are "solid" can turn 180 degrees in a hurry.
I've been thinking the same thing lately. I've reached a point where I no longer trust anyone to stick with his commitment. And don't get me wrong, I almost never blame the kids ... it's just that the process is such that I can't get too invested in the players too early on any more.
NDFB Recruiting is the primary focus of this site, though. Are we going to re-purpose? I hear cats and boobs are popular in other corners of the internet.

I see you, man. 17 years old. I get it.
An adult can share his hindsight though?

Commandments of Recruiting
1) Never get too emotional
2) Don't let anything surprise you
3) Avoid saying things like "I'm done with recruiting"
I honestly have no idea if Oregon has produced a starter, but we aren't exactly on fire in that department lately. BQ and Clausen both flamed out rather quickly.

Anyone who stops following recruiting because of this is a sissy.
And all sissies go to hell!

To much to sift thru.
Have we heard anything from his camp?
Or from a legit source?

Everything is hearsay right now, but admittedly trending poorly.
I don't know a damn thing, but here's what's happened/not happened:
All CBs to Oregon, Tommy boy included.
Blake's twitter still says 'ND commit', but he's only tweeted once since the news broke.
FWIW, I haven't seen it reported that ND has reached out to other QBs, although they could have and not reported it, or be evaluating some. I'd imagine they'd want to get plan B on campus for II, but that's just me guessing.
Blake's been dead quiet.
Blake hasn't responded to any ND commits last we heard.
No clue if he'll show up for II.
Almost every sign points to him leaving.
Fuck Michigan.
Thanks guys
So he could be silent because he is flipping, or he could be silent because he's taking time to weigh his options. Either way, as we know, where there is smoke, there is fire.
Blake, we'd love to have you. But we will be fine if you don't come.

Some of you guys get so invested in recruiting. I've been following recruiting since the Lorenzo booker year. I'm numb to all this, life will go on. We all have more important things to worry and stress over.
So Hopkins earlier today CB-d Travis Waller to ND.
Now that punk bitch has changed his Waller CB to cloudy, lol.
Troll.
WTF is a CB?
First, it ain't over til it's over. I see a 17 year old kid making sure he's making the correct decision. Just as I did at the age of 17 when it was time to leave for boot camp. I got cold feet but had my Dad to help me get through it.
Blake has the same kind of support system. He has strong parental guidance and that guidance, especially on one side, is in ND's corner. Blake is a nice kid who is more then likely being respectful to Hopkins when answering which is allowing Hopkins the ability to troll as he has been doing.
If I understand correctly, the parents weren't with Blake when he was at Oregon. With him being silent recently, sounds like a kid who is trying to make an adult situation. It's something I can respect.
And don't think for one second that ND is sitting idly. They're pulling out the stops and fighting the negative recruiting that comes with it.
Stay patient and stay respectful.

Corner Back. I mean I know we haven't really had one for some time, but that will change this year.
