Thought this was the NHL thread for a second.

That too.

Damn.

If only a ghost Drogo would rail Daenerys full nudity now to make up for it all. Show it ALL. (Except for his pee pee. Maybe blur it out Japanese style.)

I have not read a single page of the books and I haven't heard from anyone who so I'm just guessing here. My guess is that Obyren's girlfriend is so distraught and can't live without him so she confesses to killing Joffrey. Tyrion gets off and she dies. That's at least what I'm hoping happens.

Best part was the Hound finding out Arya's aunt was dead and Arya just cracking up.

I've gotta say, I knew it was coming but that last scene was still really powerful for me. The fact that the series has taken liberties with the plot before made me think maybe they'd change this plot point, but nope, two seconds and it was over.

Seriously though, something about him screaming without teeth and everyone's reactions just made me go cold inside. I'm all about gore but the scene hit a nerve.

I also think that after the awful "Bear and the Maiden Fair" ending credit transition earlier in the series, they've paid a little more attention to the way they transition to the credits... it worked very well this week.

Are you trolling book readers by calling her Khaleesi?

Also, Daenerys hates slaves.

I don't understand your question. How is that trolling?

I'm sure he realizes that Khaleesi hates slaves but calling her the "slave girl" is easier than looking up how to spell (or perhaps even recall) Missandei. She was a slave before Khaleesi freed her so it isn't exactly an inaccurate description.

The trolling, if it is, is the use of "Khaleesi" as a name, which you just did twice. Khaleesi is her title, not her name. It would be like saying "imp was condemned to die by hand after being accused of killing king by queen."

First thing that came to mind and easiest to spell as well as not knowing how to spell the naked girls name. No trolling intended.

I realize that and I did it twice. I was trolling because it seems like an extremely nitpicky thing to call someone out on. She's a fictional character, who cares?

This explanation still doesn't explain why it would be trolling "book readers" as opposed to everyone.

Probably cause book readers would be the only ones who know it's not a name? Capitalization issues perhaps?

Oh, and it seemed like there were more boobs this episode to counteract the gore. I'll allow it.

I really don't care, maybe my tone wasn't clear. It was more "haha are you trolling" than "f*ck you, troll." My non-reader friends do it all the time. They know what's correct but they also like to irritate me on purpose. Book readers are notoriously nitpicky.

I read the books, but I call her Khaleesi out of respect for the late, great Khal Drogo. May he lead his great Khalasar across the night skies for all eternity.

I'm rereading right now and her chapters are so painful and tough to push through the second time around. She is the worst

It's hilarious how many people are rooting for a mentally ill teenager with three weapons of mass destruction simply because she's a PoV character.

Co-sign the Khaleesi hate.

I love Jorah though...so I think it's her rather than just her chapters...

Boobs. Nuff said

When was the last time Emilia Clarke had a nude scene? I can't recall any in S3 or S4.

And that explanation only works for "shownlies". She got lots of fans among book readers, too, which I can't really explain.
