I can only assume that when TP posts an "All is well" post that is italicized, that means that all is NOT well.

I wouldn't put much stock in his tweet.

He'll either not explain it or say he was just messing with the ND fan base. Of course it's possible that he actually knows something and Crawford won't end up at ND, but my little heart can't think that way, I'm too fragile, lol.

Crawford's Irish, no info, fuck Michigan, get money.

I'm not very surprised by this, but the Michigan staff has contacted some players after telling them they were done recruiting the CB position.

Per Dave Berk

I agree with TP, I think it's just a matter of when

from reddit/cfb:
Rumor amongst the Cleveland track community is that he slammed a fellow student's head into a locker. Supposedly Crawford stole from a coach and blamed it on the other student. When the other student said Crawford did it, he retaliated.

Trying to keep Crawford's thread clean for those posters who are legitimately looking for news here. Discussions about DB recruiting, Neal, Darby, etc. can be continued in other threads.

In that case, cock, shit, balls.

I wet my bed last night.

Leaving this up for a bit.

Because reasons.

Thanks. Really didn't want to go through all those today.

Update from Bucknuts this morning on Crawford. They also talk about the fact that Jamal Marcus is transferring making him the 8th member of the 2012 class to leave pOSU.

Urban talked to Crawford recently to get assurances that he is still planning on visiting. It looks like his visit is still a go, but he won't be arriving on campus until Saturday afternoon. I would think this is a good sign for ND, but of course the lame host in the video thinks that means that things are trending Ohio State. LOL

Wow. I thought ND's struggles between the '11 and '12 classes were bad.

What makes you think an arrival time in the afternoon benefits us?

I'm not sure that it benefits us as much as it hurts Urbie. Less time to feed him the BS lines and less time to pressure him. Unless it makes Crawford feel like he didn't have enough time and needs to make a return trip. Then it helps OSU.

SIAP, but I missed him officially decommitting.

Notre Dame football connecting with Core 6 recruits - South Bend Tribune: Recruiting

Crawford, a recent Notre Dame visitor, announced on Twitter that he no longer holds a verbal commitment with Michigan. The 5-9, 175-pound junior at St. Edward in Lakewood, Ohio, originally committed to the Wolverines last August. Now with his recent visit to Notre Dame and a planned visit to Ohio State, the four-star prospect is a free agent.
Rivals ranks Crawford as the No. 13 cornerback in the 2015 class and No. 111 overall. 247Sports slates him as the No. 15 cornerback and No. 151 overall.

What md_bennett said as well as I would like to think you can gauge a recruits level of interest based upon how much effort he is potentially putting in to the visit. Here are the two school visits. You tell me which one seems to indicate more interest.

Visit #1

Despite having already unofficially visited this school, he probably had to leave his home by 5 am to get to campus by 9 am and spend as much time as he could on campus

Visit #2

No record of a previous unofficial visit. Was previously scheduled to attend an NFTC camp in the same town so schedules a visit for the day prior which then later turns into a half day visit.

I think it's just as likely that Crawford knows he wants to go to ND but is going to at least visit pOSU since he's already in town anyhow.

I realize that there could be other very good reasons why Shaun can't make it down to Columbus until the afternoon, but his willingness to get to ND's campus so early despite the long drive and despite having already visited speaks volumes.

Wiltfong's CB pretty much sealed the deal for me.

Loy posted that there could be an interesting turn in the Crawford recruitment. He hopes to be able to say this evening but it may not be until tomorrow. He said to watch his crystal ball.

This better be something good or this is a little ridiculous.

It's currently 44% UM, 41% ND, 12% OSU.

The way it was trending, any 'turn' would probably be for the worst, no?

Either he's cancelling his OSU visit and/or his recent issue was a big deal for ND and/or ND's staff has higher CBs on their board that they think they have a good chance with.

This is now a Loy free zone. Hoping to add Crawford as the 10th commit for 2015 soon.

IM8, Y U nuke my on-topic post?

Are we sure that the staff is currently pursuing this recruitment looking for a commitment?

Is there perhaps a "holding pattern" in light of recent events? If it's already been discussed, I missed it, so I apologize.
