I don't have access to the Michigan Board on Scout, but evidently Mgoblog mentioned in a recent unpdate that their is a rumor being circulated that Shaun may not visit Ohio State after all.

On the one hand Michigan fan is trying to take this as good news and tie it to the fact that Shaun didn't officially decommit after all. But I think Michigan fan knows it's more likely that this is good news for ND if true.

Yeah, sounds like that's more good news for Notre Dame than Michigan. The fact that he visited ND still, makes me think he's still very much prone to flipping. I'd be very surprised if he ends up signing with scUM.

Unfortunately I think the stealing explanation seems more likely. I can't imagine you'd get suspended for 3 days for a minor altercation where no punches were thrown.

If we're hearing about it online, the coaching staff surely knows already. Assuming they still want Crawford, then I have no concerns.

I get that Whiskey, but what about the 3 day timeframe for the suspension? That was reported in the original article and I don't see how that fits with Loy's description of the incident. Did it get reduced after that article was written? If not, I am having a hard time seeing how the punishment fits the alleged crime of a minor altercation.

Is stealing a more serious offense than fighting? We can't really answer that question categorically. It depends on a lot of other factors. At this point, we know next to nothing, and no good is going to come of speculating about it.

If our coaching staff seems to have changed their tack with Crawford, then that will be a telling sign that perhaps this incident was more serious than initially reported. Until then, let's wait for more information to come out.
