He talked with Anna this morning. As I said above, he is visting with PJ Mbanasor on June 20th. Talked with Coach Cooks for 45 minutes yesterday and that's when he got his offer. He doesn't have any favorites as of now; he really likes Notre Dame now since they offered. He and his parents will go down a check list when picking a school: is he comfortable there, hospitality, degree, and if his parents like it. Wants to make a decision before his senior year. If he needs more time then he'll take his 5 ov's

Agree. But it intrigues me that I think he could play both sides of ball. Get him on campus and see where he fits best, he is a good athlete.

Cooks visited his school last week, but didn't get to talk to him per NCAA rules. He was able to watch Lane workout. Lane and his teammate, Brandon Jones, are hoping to attend the Irish Invasion Camp. Lane is still open and has no leaders at this time.

I'd have to lean closer to the ladder. Not only does he play in Texas, but he plays in the highest class in Texas. When you're schooling Permian, then you know you have an good recruit.

Scout: Lane was offered by TCU and it sounds like it really made a big impact on him. He said it has changed his decision time line and now isn't sure about narrowing his offers at the end of spring.
