I literally have no idea what you're talking about.
He doesn't care if you know what he's talking about because it's the internet and thigs dnt cme out -->
I literally have no idea what you're talking about.
I'm 43 freakin years old man,I don't need to "argue" the point with you or
anyone else for that matter. I stated what I tried to come across and was
using "Freedom Of Speech" because let's face it in this day and age our
amendments are withering away on all fronts. I'm sure someone else
will be more then happy to argue the meaning of life with you. Have a nice day.
Hahaha.... yeah, that's what I'm talking about! Forget it man.
Jayhawk isn't 40
How is Mayweather more racist?
"I'm on vacation for about a year, about a year," Mayweather said. "As soon as we come off vacation, we're going to cook that little yellow chump. We ain't worried about that. So they ain't gotta worry about me fighting the midget. Once I kick the midget ass, I don't want you all to jump on my d---. So you all better get on the bandwagon now. ... Once I stomp the midget, I'll make that mother f----- make me a sushi roll and cook me some rice."
That's not as racist as saying black people smell and attract vermin and then practice housing discrimination while also treating players on his team like mandingo fighters and not wanting his girlfriend to be seen with black people.
So now we're arbitrarily arguing over what is more racist.
And just a matter of time before Brittney Griner gets a lifetime ban from womens' basketball.
I'd assume it's contractual, so Silver can sue Sterling if he refuses to pay up. But if they're going to force him out anyway, the fine seems superfluous. Either fine him and let him stay, or force him out. Doing both is stupid.
The NBA's decision was made to ban him the minute the first sponsor pulled out. And the owners' will have no choice but to vote him out. I don't care about debating the issue of is it just deserved or not. That's for the other owners to decide. I have seen enough grandstanding on both sides of this to the point that I turn the channel when the story comes up again.
Bottom line... the NBA must protect its' image and corporate sponsors and Sterling will still be a very rich man when its all over.
What are any of your opinions on these items of fallout from this situation:
UCLA Rejects $3M Gift From Donald Sterling For Kidney Research « CBS Los Angeles
and
NAACP: Sterling’s Lifetime Ban Isn’t Enough, Want To Meet With Silver « CBS DC
For me the first one is just sad because the people it really hurts are those with kidney problems. When it comes to bad people or bad money, if there is anything that makes any kind of bright spot come about it would be its use in charity or research to help the sick and injured. He will not be thought of as a hero, but at least the $$$ is put to good use.
The other story is just weird considering the NAACP was about to give him an award until this nugget found its way to the surface.
Thank you for posting the original video. I tried to do this on my earlier post but just didn't know how to upload videos. (Thus the numerous edits!)Reps, sir! I am going to repost your link to make it even easier to play. In all of the political and economic discussions on IE, people seem to fall on one of two sides. Those that would think this guy is some crazy minority spouting gibberish, or those that understand exactly what he is saying, and regretfully agree with every point.

To me, if you level any personal criticism toward this guy, attempt to feign ignorance or deny his carefully crafted points, or if you just get angry and call him a racist, you are both a racist and a classist.
And it is those like Sterling, and the idiots that are actually responding to the salacious nature of this, other than the ongoing overt racism of the situation that art the real reason this world is a little smaller, colder, and uglier that it would otherwise be.
Back of the napkin, and assuming it's similar to the NFL:
NBA, LLC (probably not its real name) is constituted by 30 equal Members and governed by an LLC Agreement/"Constitution" if you will.
One member of the LLC is Clippers Basketball Team L.P. (probably not its real name), which is controlled by Sterling.
Silver can ban Sterling the human from activities per his powers as commissioner, but the Limited Partnership still receives the rights/distributions under the LLC Agreement/Constitution.
So then, under the "Constitution", NBA, LLC can liquidate the Limited Partnership's interest in the LLC upon the affirmative vote of 75% of the Members, if certain conditions are met allowing the vote to take place. There will probably be a lengthy procedural process as to whether the vote can take place, decided by a arbitrator whose opinion is binding.
Whether the vote will actually take place, or whether the League will just use it as leverage to force a sale is anyone's guess. But one thing's for sure: Sterling's screwed.

Off-topic but I'm getting an internal server error in another thread...anyone know how to fix that?
