'170 is pretty damn good.

Damn, I don't think I ever beat 110' when I threw. Hell, even the big 300 lbs All State linemen we had on our team didn't pass 140' I think. Track was awesome for linemen. All the glory of playing a sport with none of the running

A guy from my alma mater had the national record back in 1990. His record throw was 216' 8". Its since been broken.

Just posted a picture on twitter of himself and Les Miles. Apparently Les showed up at a function tillery's school was having. Really starting to hate that guy

Jerry seems to have a good chest on him. But more importantly he has a good head and will end up Irish (IMO).

LSU isn't just going to play nice though.

Long way to go and Miles will surely dial it up. Hope JT stays with his heart and looks at the long term benefits of attending ND.

Visiting for lsu's spring game w his parents. Mother is wearing an LSU scarf today. I would say this kid is not committed. Wonder if staff knows something with offering Trevor Rutland today.

Man, what a joke. I dunno where early reports of his parents being ND fans came from, maybe it was an assumption because he was a lifelong fan. Seems clearly to be receiving a lot of internal an external pressure here.

He mentioned on power hour that he has ND bed sheets, etc. and I really do think there's a good chance he sticks. It does really seem though like the LSU angle is to work on the parents.

Loy:
I continue to hear nothing but positives regarding Tillery and Notre Dame. He's been flirting with LSU a little, but I know he continues to talk with Irish commits Blake Barnett and Tristen Hoge weekly, along with offensive line coach Harry Hiestand. I feel better about him than I did a few weeks back.

I also had a source, who's close to his HS head coach, tell me he's confident Tillery ends up at Notre Dame.

I think there is a good chance his mother trolled the ND fanbase hardcore, haha. This is and will be a weird recruitment. But to be honest I'm not all that concerned here, whether he sticks or not.

Loy update says he continues to hear good things about ND/Tillery. He still talks regularly with Hoge, Barnett, and Hiestand. Loy also has a source close to Tillery that says he will stay with ND. Loy feels more confident new than he has recently. Take it fwiw.

Seems like LSU is going to work the mother angle. This is one case where I hope the mother keeps quiet and lets him make his own decision! lol

Showed up this morning to the Houston NFTC camp with an LSU basketball shirt on. So there's that.

I worked on an EDS GM (computer) project with a guy that worked on a crew that set up workstations, that came to work one day in a "Ford" shirt. Now this crew dressed casually because they took workstations off the truck and set them up at the user's desk; it was dirty work, sometimes. Well this guy lasted about ten minutes before I got a call. So I called him down, and asked him, "Why?" He didn't have a good answer. I shook my head and told him he would have time to think about it, and thanked him for his service.

Why do people do these things? Plain shirts are cheaper.

Did anyone happen to listen to the ND podcast or radio show he was recently on? Did they ask him about LSU and his recruitment plans for visits and what not?

I'm trying to think of the last 'good sign' that he's Irish was, but lately it seems like all LSU smoke. I suppose him joining the Irish radio show was a good sign but not sure how that went.

We obviously don't know what they're wearing day to day, but seems extremely rare to sport or ther schools clothes post commitment, no?

Idk, maybe he wears ND clothes all week long and we hear nothing of it, and he wears a LSU shirt one day and that's what will obviously get reported.

He also JUST visited LSU correct?
It'd make sense that he has a bunch of new swag and is showing them some love.
I would if I were a highly recruited football player and received a bunch of shit from a program.

This is ridiculous.
The kid lives in Louisiana. He's a football fan/player. He grew up surrounded by LSU. One would assume he owns a few t-shirts. It's not like he's showing up to stuff in USC clothes. And of course LSU's going to keep on him. So should we.
And if we're going to make mountains out of tea leaves, I'd note that aside from that pic with Les Miles his Twitter feed is all Notre Dame, including a lot of interaction with current/future players. Typically the kids who are getting cold feet quit that stuff first.
