There's this rule my friends and I abide by called "The Third Joke Rule." If something funny happens, you get a maximum of two jokes after the initial funny occurrence, because usually the third joke is stupid and ruins the feels.

Kuehnja/Bryant jokes have far surpassed that stage and are now reaching the "IE litterbug" stage.

Now reaching litterbug stage? How about full on dumpster fire. Insert pic here.

Kuehnja is a good kid and takes most of it in stride. He just makes it too easy a lot of times.

But if you get to the 7th joke, it becomes funny again. To my defense, 95% of the GB jokes are initiated by another poster and I go along with it.

Oh yeah, I feel like half of IE is guilty, myself included. I'm pretty sure I've made a comment at some point.

I think part of my reasoning is also that Greg has now publicly mentioned that he's seen "rumors online," so it just doesn't feel like it would be a good look for someone to see all of the shirtless/muscle jokes.

The ridiculous amount of jokes alone are beginning to get uncomfortable.

I really do apologize for anyone who's bothered or takes offense to me on here, Bryant jokes included.

Sorry to sound like a goon, but based on the reps I get, a lot of members actually realize it's harmless and think they're genuinely funny, and my general posting, for that matter.

I could hold back all of the time to please the dozen or so haters, but then I wouldn't be myself. What fun is that? Lol.

But really, I apologize if they upset your or seem offensive, but I don't plan to change my tune. I know where to draw the line and you can't please everybody, so I don't try. I'm an aquired taste and am comfortable and responsible with what I say on here, on social media, etc, so you telling me otherwise will probably fall on deaf ears :).

In a perfect world, I'd be a 'viewer' and not a poster, but growing up in Wisconsin, I have zero die-hard ND fans, so you guys are my only Irish outlet and you're stuck with me.

Why is this in Greg's thread again?

On related news,
I'm glad Greg appears to be a front runner for the PR job.

We need someone shifty and strong.
Lately we've been using either shifty (Davonte) or strong (Floyd)...or "hands" (Goodman).

I can't wait to see the progress on special teams.

I'm 100% guilty of throwing jokes your way. You take them like a champ. I enjoy your posting. Some may not.

You my boy K.

Greg Bryant is gonna blow shit up come September.

Back to GB, I think most people and myself definitely included will have a 'slow clap' moment for Bryant when he crosses the end zone for the first time.

Whether he contemplated transferring or not, I'm sure it's a hell of an adjustment coming from Florida to ND, not to mention being a 5-star where everyone's all over you and you're flooded with attention, and I'm glad he's liking it here.

Personally hoping he scores the first TD of the year, which brings me to my next point. Is it too early for 'first TD of the year' thread? And let's make it for vbucks!

Probably a bit early ... but when has that ever stopped rampant IE speculation and argument?

When will we know who will be returning kick-offs? Will GB be in the mix? What sort of blocking scheme will be in place?

Enquiring minds want to know ...

I don't even think it was that, because he stayed in and ran the very next play. I think he tried a skip-step to set up a cut, but he realized it wasn't going to work so he just found the sideline.

Urban Meyer would not want.

Definitely not jay. I thought it was Austin actually. But Jay did chase down Tarean on the sweep earlier in the game. The dude is even faster in person.

Hey Koon. I was less than 10 ft away from Greg while at Brothers today. Jelly?

What was he wearing?

I could watch that run 20 times over and not make sense of his last 10 yards of moves. I'm just glad it's not an injury because that's what it looked like to me.

All the RBs looked great today.

I think he was just having fun, but he should have booked it into the endzone

Agreed Koontah.

I was thinking the same damn thing. "Oh great, there's a nagging hammy."

All the RBs looked great today.

I think he had a particular move in mind but was too gassed to pull it off. I was impressed with the eight yard run he had on the next play.
