Not sure why any of these systems are able to manually be shut down. Makes no sense.
China isn't going for this answer yet until they see the satellite data for themselves. There's still so many unanswered questions on this with regard to the two people with stolen id's and photoshopped pictures, the ties to "Mr. Ali", the mystery caller to the pilot and more. This is so bizarre.
On the conspiracy note, the one I've heard is the plane went to 45,000 feet because the lack of oxygen could have killed all the passengers and crew except the pilot who hijacked it, dove to below 5,000 feet to avoid radar and flew the plane to Pakistan or Africa where it is being outfitted for terrorism. Israel has actually prepped defenses in case the plane suddenly shows up headed towards them.
Has it ever been made public what satellite images prompted them to 'confirm' what they have?? Meaning did they positively identify the logo a piece of the plane?

What's all this?
The two Iranians with the stolen passports were found to be migrants with no ties to terror groups. But I haven't heard anything about the bolded.
Here is the picture that was being used by mainstream news outlets. Photoshopping is described.

A pinger locator in the Indian Ocean has detected signals consistent with those emitted by a flight data recorder and a cockpit voice recorder, the head of the Australian agency coordinating search operations said Monday.
The sounds were heard at a depth of 4,500 meters (about 14,800 feet), retired Air Chief Marshal Angus Houston said.
"We've got a visual indication on a screen, and we've also got an audible signal. And the audible signal sounds to me just like an emergency locator beacon," Houston said.
"We are encouraged that we are very close to where we need to be."
But it could take days before officials can confirm whether the signals did indeed come from the plane, which fell off the radar on March 8 with 239 people on board.

That's a long way down. Recovering the box may be difficult.
Very interesting.
It very well could be a sunken ship or another wreckage though. Curious to see what comes of this.
"During the search for MH370, GeoResonance searched for chemical elements that make up a Boeing 777: aluminum, titanium, copper, steel alloys, jet fuel residue, and several other substances.
It would have to be one with jet fuel on it…
and an unregistered wreck.
