I think between Hilton, Da'Rick Rogers, Dwayne Allen, Coby Fleener and either a draft pick/Decker, Luck will have enough weapons. They really need to revamp the O line. Never understood the T Rich trade, given their line.

Allen coming back should help immensely. Rogers is still inconsistent, hope he takes another step forward. O line has needed an upgrade since the latter Manning years. Glad to see Satele gone. He got beat worst than a snare drum in a heavy metal band.

Good fit for Tate. Have a feeling he is going to light it up with Stafford.

Trestman has been horrible so far and the management has too. They'll find a way to fuck up in this years loaded draft somehow too... Watch

Yea I was trying to be nice but I tend to agree with this. I am very very salty about losing Lovie Smith who although imperfect was a coach you could do far worse than. I hope Tampa wins the Super Bowl I almost am also tempted to say I hope the Bears go like 4-12 the next two years clean house and the reload.

Denver is all in this year. Getting Talib isn't that bad when you consider that they lose Bailey's cap space.

They lead for Ware as well. That would be an amazing FA haul.

After Talib and Ware and then drafting Tuitt, that defense will be ready to take a step forward and hopefully help Peyton earn at least one more ring.

I have a feeling Tate's not going to be wearing #81 anymore...

So happy to get him though. Also this is sweet:

@ESPNStatsInfo: Golden Tate gained 17.6% of his yards after contact last season - highest among wide receivers.

Colts may pull Alex Mack from the Browns. This would be a huge upgrade for the O line. Ravens are also interested in him.

Can't believe the Pats got Revis. Wilfork, Mayo, Kelly all healthy are like free agents. Need Edelman and to draft a WR/TE and there's no way they're going to be any worse than 12-4

I'll bet all my vbucks the Pats don't make it to the Super Bowl barring a Peyton Manning injury.

I'd bet you all of mine that they do as long as Gronk is 100% for the playoffs.

So, we probably dont have a bet haha

Pats would be a different team if they can sign Jared Allen or Julius Peppers to go along w any of those injured returning at full strength next year.

Don't let the name fool you. Peppers isn't the old Peppers. He got his Bears contract with the hope that he could get bak to his original dominant self. It never happened and it is apparent that he doesn't have the motor he used to. You can't deny his physical measurables, but I just don't see him as a guy that an organization like the Pats would fall for and overpay.

Just my opinion.

They probably wouldn't pay him or use him as an every down player, but I could see them bringing him in as a pass rush specialist if he doesn't find anyone else to pay him and he wants to play that role for a contender. Could basically say the same thing about Allen, too.

The guy I'd love to see the Pats bring in is Steve Smith. They could use some of Smith's attitude on offense, honestly.

Also: just saw the Jets sign Decker. I like it as a Pats fan. Doesn't help the Jets nearly as much as losing him hurts Denver. I know he wasn't going to be back there regardless, but honestly I don't really think of the Jets as much of a threat (at least on offense).

I hear you, and agree w Rhode. Chandler Jones and Rob Ninkovich play far too high a % of the defensive snaps for the Pats. Peppers or Allen would be a very good option for the situational pass rush and the Pats would only bring him in if he's willing to accept a short term deal. I'd have preferred they found a way to bring Ware in. As for the offense, I was hoping they could have found a way to land Golden. That would have been epic.

Wooly is right about Peppers. Wilfork is starting to get up there. Not sure his body can handle carrying that much weight anymore.

Agree on Tate. Thought that would have been a great fit but he ended up in another great situation in Detroit. Could end up with a breakout, pro bowl type of season next year.

Sproles is a great pickup for Philly, especially for only a fifth rounder.

So if Wilfork is out with Pats (he's requested a release), is it likely they shoot for Big Lou?
