Question for those of you that have ordered one of these Adidas jerseys, how is the fit? I know they are modeled after the tech-fit jerseys so do they run super tight?

I can't believe Jack allowed UA to change ND's colors to black and white. what a mess.

Not certain, but i am almost positive the contract with Adidas doesn't expire until early summer

I'm guessing the contract expires "for all seasons commencing subsequent to July 1, 2014" or some such thing. Thus, spring ball is really the "preseason" of the post-July 2014 season.

Always looking to add to my vast athletic jersey collection, and at 50% off, couldn't pass up the jersey of the 2014 Heisman winning quarterback, Everett Golson!

Hmmm, I didn't see that anywhere, names on jerseys are only reserved for bowl games to my knowledge. JS said the jerseys "will change very little" during the UA announcement, names on the back of regular season jerseys is a major change, IMO.

My #9 jersey (navy blue) came in today. Can't wait to rep Jaylon next year.

How does Under Armour help Maryland in recruiting?

Call it a gimmick if you want, but having an innovative equipment partner makes a difference. There’s the obvious perks, like the financial support, but there’s also something to the idea that being able to offer the opportunity to play at a school that innovates with uniform design can be an attractive asset.

It’s a fashion show for young men who often happen to be around 6-4 and upwards of 240 pounds. (lulz - Huntr)

“Our association with them in terms of what they do for us does aid us in recruiting,” Edsall said. “The product that they put out and that they’re going to be able to wear, knowing that we’re going to have these opportunities...is something that we think is very, very positive for us in the recruiting process.”

Maryland is striving to be the flagship of a brand in the same way that Oregon is Nike’s flagship.

I'm not sure about the last part. UA won't be going crazy w/ND unis like they do w/MD, but this relationship will likely be a positive in Irish recruiting.

ND has used names on the jersey as full season thing. IIRC, they did this for several years under Devine.

EDIT: which isn't to say it wouldn't be a major change; just that it's not unprecedented. Of course, so are the shamrock helmets and everyone would be mad if those monstrosities returned to the regular uniform.

FYI

JERSEY/FTBL PREM #/NAVY/XL/.
Size: XLarge
Color: Navy
Backorder - Will arrive soon

I'm skeptical as to whether the bolded is true or if I'm SOL. My wife's premium white boy's medium seems to be in stock though.

I've ordered things that were later said to be on backorder. They sometimes send it eventually but often just cancel the order.

Confirmed with the lady on the phone: They're sold out of Premier Navy jerseys in any size. White #9s are still available.

I figured the premiers would go fast, sewn on numbers and monograms for that price is a great deal.

I'm actually a little surprised it was THIS fast. Most ND football fans aren't hardcore pay-attention-in-February types.

More bad news for Under Armour. Worldwide news.
