Think about it! We got the two tackles (last minute) that most people wanted.

I like Daniel!

Awesome pick up so late in the game! I feel much better about our DL moving forward as we will need some depth and talent!

I really, really like Cage.

I know most people think that Cage is just quality depth, but I really think he can become a big time player.

Funny, in his und.com signee video, Elston said he's quite intense and he looks into people like they're offensive guards he's suppose to knock you off your feet. Also, he's got a strong resemblance to Doakes from Dexter.

Common theme in this class: tenacious attitude / aggressiveness. ND needs more of it, and Cage has it in spades.

Mentioned he is benching 400 + now!

I am just ecstatic about this class and the success they will achieve!

All the defensive front seven recruits have really high ceilings. A few have their overall potential masked by the up front development work required, but their are for an example a number that still seem to be growing (physically), Cage, Mokwuah, Blankenship, Williams, Sykes, and Trumbetti.

Not to be that guy, but he's not on the sidebar. Bonner is there twice listed and one is with Cage's height, weight and home state.

Daniel Cage admits former DC Bob Diaco “didn’t like me.” A late push from VanGorder resulted in an ND commitment

Come on, Bob...

Diaco did some nice things for ND but I'm glad to turn the page on him and see the style and types of kids BVG will be brining in.

Think it was time to move on for both parties. He had reached his ceiling as a coordinator and it was time to try out his career in head coaching.

hope it works out well for him and at the same time i'm very excited about our new hire. really think it will do wonders for us recruiting with the NFL pedigree on both sides of the ball now.
