Ok, so when sark was at Juju's school, was that his in-home m, or did he use another one cause wasn't Kelly's in-home suppose to be the last one.

that was likely just a "bump" visit, where there isn't really a sit down talk, but the coach just kind of shows up to make his presence known to the recruit.

Sark could have been at his school and not met with him. That wouldn't count as a visit. Some coaches do that just to show the kid how much he means to them and communicates through the coach.

I know there are also some real fuzzy rules around 'bumping' into a kid accidentally, but I am not totally familiar with those. BGIF would know better than I.

Its perceived to be a ND/OU battle at this point. I would be very surprised if he chose UCLA.

I didn't get that impression. It seemed more like he was just really taken by the pitch Kelly made. There's a difference between reading facts or hearing them dropped here and there and hearing it as a larger closing pitch from the head coach of ND

Might be strategic-- holding the GSR/ ROI stuff in reserve until the staff feels ready to "close" on the recruit. We've always known Quick would be a NSD decision, so that may be why he's only getting it now.

But I get your point. It floors me that we aren't shouting this stuff from the top of every building.

it really seems like BK leaves football totally out of the equation when making his final pitch during his in home...find that pretty fascinating. shows how well these visits are planned out by the staff

i wonder how this differs from other staffs across the country.

Also, for a kid that has planned on announcing on NSD for quite awhile he's probably now realizing that this is it. The last time you'll get to speak with each coach before decision time and he's really soaking it all in. Thats how I took it.

It's brilliant, really. Simultaneously highlights ND's greatest advantages, filters out most of the bullshit that other programs seem to be focusing on, and ensures that Kelly's pitch stands out.
