This is huge, even more so considering the loss of Yeargin.
meeting with BVG sealed the deal, or it pretty much sealed the deal? That is not definite by any stretch of the imagination.
and that's pretty much all I can tell you about that.
Doom and gloom. What type of recruiting year were you expecting?
BTW-That's a BS comment re: Hill. You don't know him fer sh!t.
Why is everyone saying ND is a placeholder? Other schools are doing the same thing the Irish are doing-evaluating their recruiting class, looking at their misses, and trying to plug holes. This - is - recruiting.
Quote:
Should Texas extend an offer, would that make them the favorite to land Hill?
"I'm not really sure because I don't want to be anybody's last resort," Hill said. "I want to be someone's first priority. If they are going to offer me, they're saying they have to lose someone first."

kuehnja needs to put down his crystal ball. A lot of dough he's lost on Yeargin and Hill lol.
Honestly, there's kind of a dark side to this win ... I keep thinking how many prospects we missed out on by not offering earlier, just like Texas did here. Enoch Smith, off the top of my head, and countless others.
Thats the great part about recruiting though. Saban might pass on a kid that Kelly loves. Kelly passes on a kid that Saban loves. There 1000s of kids out there each year, and by looking at NFL rosters, if you have talent you will be found. But with the 1000s of of kids, limited scholarships, airline miles, time on the phone, building relationships, etc......it all comes down to one thing.....Player Development. Some of it is on the kid, some of it is on the coach. But you get hungry kids in programs, your program will succeed. Kelly has taken that to a new level this year, and somewhat steered away from some of the "elite" talent on paper for kids that are somewhat of project, but are love football and are hungry for success.
has his brother committed anywhere yet? Sounds like a good kid also
Everybody that lives in negative town can suck it. I told you guys to trust in the BK.
Don't get me started with the Swede!
His character is about as creepy as any I can remember.

Yep.Criminally under recruited but to our benefit.
All state in Texas for 4A and he only has three little stars behind his name? SMH
given the level of competition in that state.Does Texas have a 6A division? Because one would think that an all-state pass-rushing specialist with Hill's crazy production, even in the 2nd highest division, would merit a 4thgiven the level of competition in that state.
Fall 2012 – Spring 2014
•5A – 2,090 and larger
•4A – 1,005 to 2,089
•3A – 450 to 1,004
•2A – 200 to 449
•1A – 199 and smaller
•Six-Man – 99.9 and smaller (for football, basketball and spring meets)

Perhaps Texas is still holding to the Three-Fifths Compromise?
