Is Bryant Catholic? I always flinch a little when I see someone wearing a rosary.

I am still so amazed by all his tats that I didn't even notice...

it's a brave new world when ND freshman have ink like that...

If Randolph and Deeb both pan out at ILB, we'll be in decent shape next year. More could back up Grace and Randdeeb could replace Darlo.

That's a big "if". Our recent experiments with moving ROLBs to ILB haven't worked out well.

Butler

And thanks Peoria it says I have to spread the reps around

It's cool man. I've been waiting for a normal, non-creepy way to throw that picture of Deeb without his shirt on...

Butler is jacked... Bryant is jacked, but just has a tiny wait. Like a size 27. It's weird.

Deeb=Cena is spot on. Well done Philly.

Is it now a rule that we open a random thread and talk about any recruit but the one the thread is intended for? I must have missed the memo. :)

Deeb makes multiple appearances. Also just a educated guess but I think the father that says his son has 30+ offers may be Quincy Wilson's father.

Sorry for the random bump, but this is one of the best tweets I've ever seen from a player.

Thanks for sharing, and I agree. I scrolled through his twitter feed a little as well and this kid is 100% straight up inspiration and motivation, gotta love that attitude on the team.

And he is the former teammate of Isaiah McKenzie. That kind of guy around him would almost certainly help him be successful at ND.

Nice.

They just closed ND fwiw starting at noon today until tomorrow night. The winds are blowing the snow all over the roads making it tough to drive. Anyone driving after 7 tonight will be given a citation in the thousands...

A beer run must be made quickly in that case (pun not intended, but I like it).

I may be mistaken however:
1. Wasn't Deeb the one who recommended IM to the staff?
2. Didn't IM list the Deeb family as having a big impact in his life?

I think I remember both of these as keys to why IM had a high interest in ND in the first place.

I'm not sure about that, but I do remember Deeb in May on ISD PowerHour touting IM as the best athlete in South Florida.

Yes he has stated that in the past. Not 100% sure about the first part but we really starting looking into Mckenzie because of the Deeb recruitment. Whether it was because Deeb said something or because we were at the school so much already. We were early to the McKenzie party because of our recruitment of Deeb. His visit over the summer was an unofficial in which he traveled with the Deeb's.

Just another example of good work leading to more prospects that were under-recruited. Keep doing work coaches!

Exactly, great point. I think this staff is making some serious connections at some great schools and areas.

I am so high on this kid. I hope he becomes an All-American and gets drafted. Everyone on the board has their "under the radar guy" that is going to make it big... This is my guy! Obviously there is nothing to back up my stance, but I think he will be ELITE by the time he leaves ND.

Deeb's love for and commitment to ND reminds me of Danny Spond. If he doesn't become a significant part of our defense going forward, it won't be for lack of effort and commitment. We've got some great linebackers in our future. I feel Deeb will be one we remember in years to come.
