As a Titans fan, what do you guys know about Whisenhunt? Apparently he's supposed to be a good coach but I only remember his later Cardinals teams which sucked.

Always thought he was a very good coach. Good offensive co with the steelers and good first few years in Arizonia. Lost Warner and couldnt get a QB after that. Think he will do well in TENN. Will be very interested if he tries to make it work with Locker or tries to take someone in the draft.

hopefully not to cbus with urban....they have two open spots and one of them is for DL. would be a HR hire for urban and HUGE upgrade for LJ. get's away with two less years of sanctions and a chance to coach for a contender in the league and nationally

Yeah but Richt gets blasted for all the talent he loses to other schools out of state. If he starts keeping more and more of that talent, Ga would be dangerous. Maybe not with Richt as coach, but the Ga job in the future would be tremendous with the right fit.

Great job by UGA bringing in Pruitt. Great coach and a great recruiter. As long as he's in Athens it's going to be very difficult to get kids to leave Georgia. On a side note, this very well could ensure that Marlon Humphrey goes to Alabama.
