So, Bama fans are kinda crazy..... just twitter search "fire saban". I seriously can't stop laughing at these.

had to digest this game a little...fun to watch but kinda tough too.

I'll be honest...I was jealous how well prepared Stoop's boys were...game was NEVER too big for them. They did the big things right, and were not intimidated in the least, which allowed them to do little things like waiting for blocks, or thinking to strip the ball on the sack, or even baiting some throws from Mccarron...they played competent and loose (ie prepared), and it made the difference....

...all I'll say about '13 ND is this...when veterans are not the best players on the field you get inconsistent play across the board...pretty simple. In order for preparation to maximize performance, you first need to have raw skills that allow you to compete at the most basic level. ND will miss the Jumbos that are leaving, but will see an overall leap in skills at skill positions... that will be the difference. ND '14 has more regular season wins than ND '13...IMHO.

Man 2014 is really off on the right foot for me. UGA and 'Bama lost their bowl games. This will quiet a lot of people at work.

Stoops said something in the beginning of the year how Big 12 offenses could hang points on SEC defenses. Finebaum basically called him an idiot for saying that, and tonight he would see how wrong he was for saying it.

The SEC hasn't played a lick of defense this year.

There's an old saying from coaches I heard many many moons ago. "Give me a good group of seniors over a good group of juniors any day." It wasn't coincidence that our D was much better last year with that senior in the middle.

I'd like to point out that Oklahoma scored less points on our defense than 'Bama. Our offense scored 10 points less, not shabby with Tommy getting blasted on the opening possession and basically gifting the Sooners a TD.

I'd like to point out that OU also started a much worse QB than they did against ND. Neither point makes a difference in the outcome, though, despite the fact OU scored fewer points against ND.

If someone knows how to embed his radio show, feel free.

Basically, it began by Colin pumping up the performance and doing all of the talking, and you could tell Bob was thankful but wanted his air time too. Once Colin shut up and let Stoops talk, you could tell that Stoops doesn't give a shit about the SEC.

Stoops went on a rant and Colin barely said a word for about 3 minutes I'd guess, talking about how although he respects Alabama, they've owned the SEC the last 5 years, and how Oklahoma just proved they were the better team. He also talks about how 'you guys say the SEC is so strong' but I stand by my statements from before (the propaganda statement), they have 2-3 really good teams and the rest is nothing special.

Then he ends with this gem: (paraphrasing) 'Colin, isn't it funny how Texas A/M and Missouri go into the SEC and all of a sudden they're competing and near the top of the conference, yet when they were in the BIG 12, they were never at the top of the conference?'.

He can have Quick, he deserves him. Thank you BOB!

Side note - Bob emphasized how important it is to keep the game simple and let the players make plays. He said you don't get enough time with college athletes, so when you make things too confusing, all you do is slow them down.

Side Note2 - From his response to the questions about NFL interest, IMO he would definitely listen and leave if the right opportunity came along. Just guessing, IDK Stoops personally so IDK how to take his response, but he seemed interested.

To Colin's credit, he ended his sow saying 'where are you sec fans? Everything stoops said is true'.

Guys these coaches make rounds on all the national radio shows. He essentially said the same exact thing on the Dan Patrick show. Might have left out the Missouri/A&M tidbit but everything else is verbatim. He's not trying to "stick it" to ESPN or anything.

But he is trying to stick it to the SEC. Which is great! We need a change in perception of the SEC. Especially with playoffs looming.

I didn't say that, I said 'you could tell that Stoops doesn't give a shit about the SEC'. I don't care what ESPN thinks, I just want the SEC to go away from being untouchable. Unfortunately, the two are intertwined though.

This win is huge. And if FSU wins, that will be the ACC and the 2nd or 3rd best team in the BIG 12 to beat the two best teams of the SEC. And the ACC and BIG12 are constantly ridiculed for being soft.

This is huge.

When FSU wins (hopefully wins big), I want them to get some of those circular SEC logo cutouts and stomp all over them. There is no "fanbase" that deserves to get trolled more than "SEC fans".
